- Israeli soldiers are paying a heavy price of IDF's operation in the Gaza strip's Jabalia and Rafah. While Hamas continues to mount assaults in a bid to stop Israeli advance, the troops themselves are also making mistakes, as per IDF. On May 16, IDF announced the death of a 6th soldier, who was reportedly killed in an 'operational accident.' He died in an Israeli munitions blast. On the same day, Hamas said that it launched 18 different attacks on advancing Israeli troops in Jabalia and Rafah. Hamas reported at least 3 attacks per hour on IDF that day. Watch.
