I have always used pipe cleaners for cleaning my guides out, but I never thought about the guides being cracked. I guess I will be using q tips from now on. It is amazing how much gunk for get off of the rods when cleaning them. Looking for easter eggs on your videos is getting to be an obsession. I see you have the wrap done. Now you're just messing with me. :)

I started using UB-40 cork sealant on my cork handles. Looks good and makes keeping clean a bit easier.

I always use a Mr Clean Magic eraser on my cork handled rods, works great.

I dampen my Magic eraser with warm water and just wipe the grime off the cork handles. They actually look new when finished.
Doing the line guides. Ain’t. Too hard. Once you put the tools 🧰 together. Making look like. Factory is the hard part
