My Tower was a Tank with a shield and the Overlord of the second fortress I took.. He was an absolute beast, I literally couldn't defeat him. He had: *"Cursed Weapon."* And he hit like a truck. *"Enraged by Everything."* So he was enraged all the frickin' time. *"Determination."* So he self-healed constantly when he was below 50%. *"Death Defying."* So when I finally got him down, he got back up and got all his HP back. *"Arrow Proof."* So I couldn't touch him with ranged attacks. *"Epic Determination"* So he Determination could bring him to full health if I didn't stop him. *"Shield Block"* And of course he blocked all manner of attacks from the front. His only weaknesses was that he was Dazed after raging, and that he got Dazed if he got hit by Curse damage. The first didn't help me much because the endlessly respawning orcs made sure I couldn't focus much on him after his rages. The second had the same problem, I couldn't focus him because of the legions of orcs. It did help that he usually killed his own bodyguard at some point during his rages though. But no matter what I did he constantly wiped the floor with me. He did so much damage that he could take me out in two hits. One hit if he was enraged, which was most of the time. Due to this I had to keep my distance, and go all out when he was Dazed. But since I kept my distance he always got some health back from his "Determination" casts, and he was "Arrow Proof" so I couldn't interrupt it with ranged attacks or Shadow Strike to get close. Lastly, I played on Nemesis, so what few things worked stopped working after a while due to "Adaptability". He usually stopped being affected by me vaulting over him, stunning him in ice, executions and ground executions. After failing too many times, I just grabbed 2 Ologs and 1 Uruk with Cursed weapons and two of them were also immune to Curse damage, and one was a Necromancer. And made two of them his bodyguards and one of them my bodyguard. Then when I entered I had three constant sources of Curse damage, two of which were mostly immune to his attacks and a Necromancer to constantly resurrect his dead orcs to fight for me. I barely touched the guy in that fight as they absolutely destroyed him. It was even a random no-name spear wielding grunt that got the killing blow. I almost felt bad for the guy.
I had a orc who was a absolute beast he was a giant variant of the orc he had really good health damage he wore a cute lil hat he wasn’t very rude but he was enraged by everything and on top of him being able to tear a regular orc in half in seconds he would retreat when he saw flies
My tower is a commander by the name Nakra, he has great strength and thick skinned and he happens to be enraged by injury, making him pretty much unstoppable, his only weakness is being vulnerable to stealth which is irrelevant since the ai doesn't use stealth
My Overlord in Nurnen is pretty op, whenever i have a problem to deal with in other regions, ill take him off overlord, put him in garrison, and deploy him in another region and he would beat em up. recently, i was doing a defense on nurnen, it got to the point where my overlord was forced to come out since there was so many enemies, so my overlord came out and took out like 10 captains before going down
My best pit fighters were Gruk the defender (a legendary tank with no weaknesses), Hogrish Slave Lover (epic assassin who's ai seemed to work better than everyone else's), and Horza the Prankster (legendary trickster who also had no weaknesses and had decoy's)
Actually there is a chance as he levels up that his fears will vanish but this is a very slim chance of happening but you might be able to get rid of one of the three fears
You can also with the new update recruit captains from other people in online vendettas or in online conquest. Also I played my first save game for over 50 hours on normal and I've played my second save game on gravewalker for over 210 hours and I have never seen a tower. I have also only seen two pretenders and unboxed 4 but they don't count. I believe also that it isn't one per game, people said the machine and scorpion were one per game but I have seen two machines in one game and two scorpions too.

I hated my pit fights. My Orcs would just stand around and get hit while doing nothing and die. I lost 3 legendaries and a lot of epics to that RNG bullshit!
Succ dude if you were going to die hearing that voice, that's like Morgan Freeman, Sean Connery, James Earl Jones caliber type voice. Also do keep in mind that the three guys in Shadow of Mordor where a personification of Sauron's Cruelty(The Hammer), Malice (The Tower) and his will to dominate all life(The Black Hand). I have one that is a trickster, but a better one would be the beserker though.
Succ Nothing really only reason to have the tower is that it is basically like recruiting the tower from shadow of Mordor to your army only now he is now in an uruks body

They must've increased the max levels because I'm currently level 65 and have several orcs of that level
they raised the max levels long ago - max level for talion and his orcs is 80 and enemy orcs can be 85lvl max.
