Normal brain: developing your rook by first moving your center pawns and minor pieces then castling. Sui brain: developing your rook by fucking sacking every piece in front of it
She didn't play, but she saw the match between Subaru and Miko so she could create that bingo used in the prank Fubumicomet played on Subaru. That Miko vs. Subaru match may not have helped anyone wanting to learn chess, but since Suisei is smart, she certainly learned something just by watching the two of them try.
if this made you need ibuprofen do NOT watch the subaru/miko chess match. it's like watching 2 AI play chess, but learn absolutely nothing about the game as they play. like, literally trying to move every piece to every impossible position every time without figuring out any piece's allowable movement patterns D:
Suisei has flexed hard time there hanging her queen on purpose by capturing a pawn protected by a bishop just saying 'nah, I'd win even without a queen, I'm the queen!" and then giving that beautiful criss-cross-apple-sauce checkmate with ease. And she has also flexed knowing names of all these figures like a boss. The oshi is OP
suichan can checkmate in 4 moves if mikochi didn't move knight on C6 or bishop on D7 to block way lol XD 1. B2 to B3 pawn 2. B3 to B4 pawn 3. C2 to C3 another pawn 4. D1 to A4 queen ~Checkmate~
If Miko had punished all of Susei's blunder moves alone, it would have turned into a lengthy match. So the short duration of the match can only be credited to them both.
I'd say this is well done for someone who dont know how to play chess. Suisei developed the vital pieces more than miko which allowed her to gain the upperhand. This also showcases why in high elo chess, "castling" is used as to get the rook developed.
@@malacor17 "High" is relative. If you are talking about hololive chess, I would say 400 is already very high. Ollie is the best chess player in Hololive as far as I know and she's barely 400

I am having a hard time deciding whether to watch this clip or not, on one hand it will be funny on the other i had a headache last time watching miko play chess😭
There's not knowing how to play, but adapting as you learn some of the moves. And, there's miko, that thinks the move will somehow turn legal if she presses the button enough lmfao.
I think she means she just knows the rules but not how to play well, given just how bad those moves are. Meanwhile, Miko doesn't even know what the pieces can do.
Miko is a player who barely know how to move pieces. Suisei is a player who know about how to move pieces. But, she doesn't understand moving patterns and strategies yet. Though, she seems able to predict how to move.
yeah I’m pretty sure this was the case, she at least knew what each piece could do, while Miko was clearly just picking a piece and seeing what the game let her do. Also helped that Suisei seemed to have an idea how to end a game, which already puts her a cut above most of the other girls.
dude sui was absolutely just messing with her at that point. shoving her queen in front of the knight, only for miko to move her king instead? lol. lmao, even.

Both queens were hanging by the end of the match😂

she def learned more than miko, who was actually involved in that game (i hesitate to say "play" D: )

Like that will ever happen. I'm already losing some of my braincells seeing their moves 😂
My stockfish engine basically self destruct watching this lmao
The moves are hard to watch.😂
3:20 the correct move would be for Miko to take Suisei's Queen with her Knight. But of course she didn't know she could do that.
nah see, that was an ELITE move to get the stream going ;)
I also saw that, i mean I’m not chess expert but the knights movement can be very confusing for a beginner, it’s seemingly random.
And could have traded bishop for queen beforehand.
They both didn’t learn how to play and hang every important piece anyway 😂
@@Lee-vj2mi For those who never, ever touched any form of chess, yes.
On the bright side, the chess GMs are more than happy to jump on another chance to push chess, if they can find enough translators

I was silently screaming whenever they left a piece hanging, but then the other didn’t take it because they didn’t know. 😅
Even though i don't play chess but since i know what purpose of all piece has. This is making me want to flip a table.
