There's something special about MC's--even MCX's, which ours are. We got Joey and Rocky(brother and sister) from a friend of ours who rescued them off the street. Joey, who passed in 2019 was the quintessential "good boy". Rocky his sister is still with us at 20 years old, and is the sweetest cat that you can imagine.

I was torn between a Maine Coon, British shorthair and Bengal, The Maine Coon was my first choice, but since I learned about many health issues, I think I will go for the other two.

I have what appears to be a mixed breed. He is quite beautiful and weighs about 15 lbs at 2 years. He is truly double the size of my 18 year old - 8 lb cat. Thank you for these videos, as I get general ideas about him, as he has many characteristics of a Maine Coon. 😊
