OMG I can't thank you enough for this AWESOME video! I can't tell you how many VSDC videos I have watched that have left me feeling more confused and lacking confidence that I will ever figure this out. FINALLY after watching 10 minutes of your video I was able to edit my video! Your explanation is clear, easy to understand and apply. Being a good teacher is such a gift. A million thanks!
I've never used a video editor before and took considerable time in selecting, what I considered as being, the right video editor me. With your exceptionally clear and concise tutorial, I'm certain I made the right choice. Many thanks for a superb presentation.
As a beginner I was blown away by how many things there is to click on and it was super over whelming. Your video is so helpful and very explanatory. Thank you for you time and effort . The way you move so freely and show some of the small things is actually so huge to me.
The reason I don’t give up in my channel, is because I believe that if I’m consistent then I will someday succeed. So don’t give up, we all can do this! One step at a time ❤
This is a FANTASTIC intro video to the basics. Wish I'd found this before I spent a day suffering through figuring it out on my own (transitions were a nightmare for me). I've shared this with my son who has a TH-cam channel and just got VSDC so he can learn the less painful way! I'm hoping you have a video that covers putting in end credits. I'm going to go look now.
Thank you sooooo much! Your the only place that SHOWS me where to click, I spent a month looking for the play button. The highlighted curser made all the difference!
a comprehensive overview of the features for beginners. I have just jumped into video editing and this tutorial is a good help. Thank you VSDC too for creating such a nice editor with no watermarks.
Its a very nice and short introduction to VSDC video editing for anyone looking to get an idea about using this video editing tool. Good job Teacher's Tech...
Thank you Teacher's Tech - very, very helpful. This has been the easiest to follow and understand. I've used VSDC about a year ago (not to any great standard) and needed a refresher but I've also learned how to do a couple of things more efficiently. Keep up the amazing work!
Your explanation was very helpful, I'm a beginner to VSDC editor as I used to work on Windows movie maker earlier and felt VSDC editor to be much of a professional one to handle, but thanks to you, VSDC is easy for me now.
I recently bought the paid version of VSDC and as a newbie editor, I'm struggling with learning curve and hope your video will help. Thanks so much for this!
VSDC is an absolutely great video editor for free. It works well on my 4GB laptop. Thank you for this detailed tutorial, Teacher's Tech. ❤ The timestamps also helped a lot.
Great tutorial - thank you! I'd like to understand a little bit more about two things: how to fade music in and out & also: dos and don'ts when it comes to editing videos so the end product is smooth and not too amateurish looking ;-)
Great Tutorial! I struggled through a number of other tutorials, both video and written, and could not figure out the basics of editing. I was getting to the point of uninstalling VSDC and searching for another tool. Your video clarified quite a bit for me and now I feel confident I can do the basics in VSDC. Thank you! p.s. do you have other video tutorials for more advanced topics in VSDC?
This is an awesome tutorial of VSDC! Thank you for going at a much slower pace for people (such as I) to absorb all of the details. Thanks again for this great tutorial!
Thank you for this video..........I have been trying to do an intro for each of my videos with no success, and with your explanation, I have been able to do so.
Thanks a lot! It takes a long time and patience to figure out everything myself. My question is: How to slowly zoom in one image, like a place on the map, in slideshow?
Took me awhile to hear about this one think I have tried just about all of them.. Just downloaded this couple days ago been messing with it a little... its really nice, easy to use. I really like it. It will probably end up being the one I use for awhile at least.
Hello i just recently started a yt channel and I have been looking around for these kinds of video editors without a watermark and this video helped me out a ton
Hi Jamie, thanks for this great beginners guide. Can you confirm if you have additional tutorials re VSDC that I may review after this one, to get more advanced?
Thank you so much! Switching from editing on my phone to computer and this is the perfect tutorial! I found everything I need and now super confident 👍
Thanks a lot sir This helped a lot. I used to edit in Kinemaster but the problem was the export quality wasn't good. Now I can use this editor and export in HD or 4K!!!
Instead of uploading a new video of my own, I'm here in search of new editor after just losing my latest project on Davinci Resolve 16 I'd spent days working on. So I as a Creator hate editing right now. The worst. I'm hopeful VSDC could help with how I feel, I'm having trouble making two splits and then deleting that unneeded portion
Great and informative video dear thanks for the work. BTW which video editor do you use personally for these kind of TH-cam videos. And what screen recorder did you use to capture your screen?
This is so helpful! I want to do an instruction video and am looking to add a title and my voiceover prior to the video starting. Is this possible. TIA
Hi Jamie! Thanks for the very efficient and clear tutorial. I have a question for you. There are tiny moveable markers above the time lapse layer in the timeline, could you explain what this is used for? I wonder if it can be used to adjust the video length. The project/scene I have technically ends at 56 sec, but when I export it, it is saved as 1:16 min. I attempted to cut out the blank end of the scene, and again it saved as 1:16min. I assumed that the scene length would adjust automatically to the length of objects in the scene, but this doesn't seem to be the case! Would be great to have some guidance.
Hey there, so I made a video about transitions, and I figured it out while I was working in it. They basically allow you to zoom in on a selected area. Feel free to check my channel and click the vsdc transitions videos if you want a more clear understanding. They're a bit odd, but once you understand them, they're very useful
hey, teacher, thanks a lot for taking your time to post this video and going through this app´s features. do you think this is the best desktop app for video editing or would also recommend another one?
Oh man, this is really great. Me as half a noob videomaker finally figured out a bit of video making thanks to you 😃 Great thanks, this helps me a lot. It will take some practise but i'll try. Greetings from the Netherlands !

Hello Jamie, I was fortunate enough to discover this editor 2-years ago when I initially started a TH-cam channel for our church. I continue to learn and grow from it and with it. I'm particularly interested in sprites, transitions and effects. Here's a specific challenge I'm having: How can I see all the layers in the timeline when I'm working? I constantly have to scroll up or down to find the layer I need. Does this editor offer that feature? Thanks and be well.
This is the most thorough and detailed tutorial for anyone willing to get familiar with VSDC. Thank you!
You're very welcome! Glad you found it helpful.
Why the Windows Store version of the VSDC Pro is more pricey than on the Website?
i get a pro version , i really need fast keys command for split a video . please do it.
I will try it 😉👍
Can i use this offline while editing videos?
