That technique is grate! I grew up cooking on the Weber Kettle with my pops, that's what got me passionate about outdoor cooking. Definitely would love to see more. The Egg is a wonderful piece of equipment, but the OG Weber Kettle is much more accessible for many.

Great concoction. Beer can is controversial. I myself would leave the can out and pour some beer on the trompo just like you did. Still, seems like a great setup.
