From the 1983 "In Concert at the Met," the encore, after the last concert duet from "La Forza del Destino," "Invano Alvaro," which performance of was quite simply perfect in every way. I won't refer to any human as a god, but these two peerless specimens of masculine pulchritude and vocal majesty are now immortal. We will never forget them. The Golden Age of Opera is closing. I'm just glad I was alive when it was at its most brilliant. Mil gracias por compartir.
@@kennethwayne6857 Wish he did Sweeney. His big stage presence fits him better. but PHANTOM, imagine his voice with the music of the night, and rest of the phantoms score

Golden Age of Opera? Domingo is the nasal king!
Esta es una de las escenas de la ópera de Verdi que te congela la piel
Sublime duo !
Placido, always dramatic, never wooden fantastic
Domingo is the best!
Bravo!!
Bravi!
Out of topic, but with his voice, Milnes should’ve played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. He would’ve been fantastic
At the end of his career he did play Judge Turpin in 'Sweeney Todd'. Wish I could have heard that.

The best
Damn Milnes had such a high range. I wonder if he could’ve sung Nessun Dorma. That A4 was so powerful
That has a B4
@@philbertchow5425 that’s what I’m saying. I’m sure he can hit a strong B4

It does not matter what note you sing if it's a terrible scream
the public must have thought the same thing, hence the huge applause ;-)
Exactly. Domingo is awful.

Тенор - ужасно.
