Awesome concepts Christopher! Those early architectural decisions can have a profound influence on how things go later in an apps lifetime. Nothing like the experience of running into that scenario head first, and trying to solve it, to teach you that lesson! Concepts you explain here are pure gold!
Christopher actually you could create a some sort of course, where you could build some project from scratch and demonstrate this thinking abilities there. Because that will be one of the most valuable courses in the programing world.

Have seen organisations which started with flexible model, and with time and success they forget to invest the money earned back into software. And hence the whole iteration stops, and they end up with poo-code.

How to determine seams in the code?
Start thinking about tests. Which components are you going to test?
