I have a question my 2006 Buick lucerne start's up great runs great after 5 minutes it stalls out and just clicks when trying to restart and about 10 minutes later starts up and runs for 5 minutes and does the same thing

@@timothyhill9571 hmm that’s interesting, it clicks as if the battery were dead? (Does not crank the engine)

@Tech-28 yes Even though the battery is good I was told to pull the key switch out and look at it but to get it home I'm going to put a jumper wire with a push button switch

Hey there man I've been experiencing a similar issue with my 3.8l allure and it seems does a random no start with crank and stalling while driving I've canceled out thermostat, fuel pump/pressure, grounds are good, battery is good, can't find any major leaks. Replaced throttle body, and maf with only a significant change for a day or so before the car would start stalling multiple times in a day. The consistent pattern was stalling when the car was finally reaching peak operating temp, but suddenly was noticing my coolant reservoir was almost empty when the car was cold. Been banging my head here also had the car at the shop for 2 weeks and they couldn't get any codes

@@bfenney7935 I had a Grand Prix once with that exact issue, ended up being a crappy crankshaft position sensor that would just drop out randomly on the guy, no rhyme or reason

This is a great video… I went through 3800/3100 engines diag many times myself… the best way is to use the scope and see the signals as they are… I have a video to that same issue I d like to offer for your attention…
