The Ford tie tack brought a smile to my face. My grandfather retired from Ford, he did time motion studies. He died face down in the Wall Street Journal in 1976 at the age of 91, I had just turned 26. I remember seeing him wear a tie tack like that when I was a child. I never saw my grandfather in anything other than a suit and tie. In his wallet we found , folded up, the telegraph my father sent to him the night I was born. He had carried it for just over 26 years, I still have the telegraph, it's framed hanging in my living room. He drank hot tea not coffee and I remember he would mix all his food together on the plate. believe you might say he was a bit eccentric. My mother used to tell a story about one summer when he was visiting from Detroit. My parents were working in the yard gardening. Mom didn't want me to be afraid of bugs, so I would follow them and pull out earthworms. I don't remember this incident but I was putting the earthworms in my pockets. My grandfather exclaimed to my mother, "Virginia, can't you find anything better for that child to play with?" I later progressed to putting them in cans with dirt so I could go fishing.
Hi Jason such yummy and delicious pieces of treasures Carolyn. Love, love the 💍 rings, necklaces and the brooches as well. Beautiful, beautiful colors. Very good opening. See ya on the next. Have a lovely weekend
@@prestonstmarketYou do a great job. Your knowledgeable commentary and enthusiasm for jewlery is very enjoyable. It's technology that is the boogeyman!
No. No, no, no! What happened to the video!!? 😫 I'll forgive you this time, but don't do it again! You naughty boy!! 😂 I LOVE the gorgeous amber ring. It looks like a little bitty, teeny tiny pre-historic bee. 🐝 And the 14k makes it even nicer. 😁😉 I love watching your videos. They're the highlight of my day - due to them practically being on a daily basis. Have a lovely weekend Jason! 💖😘🇭🇲
I like watching you. But I have a comment. You treat the jewelry of people's lives with such distinct. They wrap their treasures so carefully and you take them out of the bag and throw them to the side uncaring.
@@EmZee190 and that means what? He doesn't just throw them in a pile to deal with scratches and nicks later? I would like to see what Jason does with the jewelry when he takes them out of the carefully wrapped packages

Great pieces but, Did the video get cut off?
It did, I’m trying to figure out what happened!!!
Good video 😊
Thanks 😁
Good video
Thanks 🫶
I enjoy your videos but why do you think there's so much Kendra Scott
I wish I knew but I see it so often these days, her stuff can wear very easily so I’m not a fan.
@@prestonstmarket yes I have noticed that so I guess people think of it as throw away jewelry not as collectible. Thank you for your help

Awe, thanks so much, I do try very hard!! 🙏❤️

What do you expect me to do, build a shrine with the packing materials?

The mic tends to amplify the noise. What sounds like clatter or banging to us does not make much noise when you are in the room.
