"cretinización", "nefasto", el móvil "enerva, aliena, altera", "capacidad de ensimismarse" y mucho más. Madre mía aquel hombre es un vocabulario viviente, una capacidad oral impresionante. Si tuviera la posibilidad, estaría horas escuchándolo!
El español promedio tiende a ser bastante intelectual, o tener un nivel educativo alto.

Yes, but you only heard that ‘perfect description’ because you are logged on to the Internet! You can’t condemn something (mobile phones) via the very thing you’re condemning and expect to be taken seriously. If you find them ‘dehumanising’ stop using them.

As much as I don't like polarized opinions, the words are true: with social media, constant anxiety of losing the information we really have little chance to become isolated, retrospect, reflect on cosas que pasan. I'm okay with it if it doesn't affect me, e.g. I can avoid TikTok or Reels and whatnot, but then I want to watch 10 hours long Dune, because I want to appreciate every frame of it, the information and deepness of thought it delivers. But I can't, the movie won't go out for people who got used to 10 seconds change of videos, context, people, colours, appearance. Deep regret for people of fast pace to lose the deep of thought.
I think, on balance, the Internet is probably a good thing. For me, its principal boon is the democratisation of opinion. We are able to post and are able read the posts of those who in a pre-Internet age would’ve had no public voice. Of course, the downside of this is that every man and his dog can post about the minutiae of their lives and, realistically, this is going to be of no interest to 99.9% recurring of the population. However, I would argue that just the fact of anyone with access to the Internet having a voice and that being ipso-facto a good thing, regardless of the content they post. It’s down to the consumer to discern and sift the wheat from the chaff as they see it. My main gripe against the Internet, however, has to be the drastic deterioration in our individual/collective attention spans. This inevitably bleeds into ‘real life’ and manifests itself as an intolerant impatience in one’s interlocutor as soon as they feel that urge to be distracted by the next thing/person. Paradoxically, I find that people who are not so in thrall to the Internet in their day to day lives are the people most likely to listen, to truly listen to another, whereas those who seemingly have the most practice at listening to others in the cacophony of Internet chatter are often disastrous at being able to listen and interact in ‘real life’.

No creo que no seria capaz de vivir sin móvil por un año. Uso mi móvil todos los días y esta está muy integrado en mi rutina.
Uso mi móvil bastante… es verdad que pase mucho tiempo enfrente de mi móvil. Pero sin embargo no me siento mal porque solo lo uso para cosas que me ayudan y me encantan. Por ejemplo veo todos vídeos en yt en francés o español ;D

Gracias. How does the word for "phone" change geographically, if it does? In English: UK "mobile", US "cell, cell phone". In the Mexican context I have only ever heard "celular"

Error-> cómo se sentiríais->cómo os sentiríais. Se utiliza “os sentiríais” y no “se sentiríais” ni “se sentirían” porque no tiene esa pareja pelo argénteo que crezca en el encéfalo. Un saludo👍

durante un mes (mas o menos) no usé mi móvil, pero usé un movil viejo, una nokia. Es bastante dificil, pero no es impossible.

Creo que puedo vivir sin móvil. Mi móvil no funcionado en el verano y tuve que vivir un mes sin Messeneger, Google maps y horarios de los autobuses. No era fácil, pero en mi opinión cada person debería a veces hacer el descanso y poner el móvil en el cajón 🤗

si usas el movil como una herramienta es beneficioso. pero la mayoria son enganchados a sus moviles y este es la problema. uno debe usar el mobil atentamente, y no como un zombi.

He encontrado a muchos amigxs a través de las redes sociales y me encanta hablar con ellxs. Los moviles también son buenos para leer los diarios. Y piensa en toda la información que hay en internet! En mi opinión, puedes aprender mucho más hoy que en el pasado porque Internet existe ;) !
Mi hermana está viente siete años y es en la escuela de posgrado. Ella usa un teléfono de tapa. Ella está bien porque tiene una computadora. Uso mi teléfono para por mucho menos de la persona promedio

Pero creo que el móvil es extremadamente importante para nosotros para comunicarnos y incluso trabajar o estudiar. Muchas personas aquí en Brasil escaparon de la pobreza gracias a la internet. Yo no podría vivir sin un móvil, sin internet. Entoces, es posible vivir con el móvil y las personas que nos gusta, ter mucho más convivencia. No miro mucho el Instagram pero me gusta mucho jugar en el móvil, me gusta mucho leer en el móvil, me gusta mucho estudiar en el móvil, no, no podría vivir sin un móvil. Y a pesar de gustar mucho de la internet y el móvil, me gusta mucho la naturaleza, observar aves y incluso hacer ejercícios a cielo aberto. Y también me gusta mucho leer libros físicos.

I recommend that you take a look at the channel "spanish after hours", she makes comprehensible but still interesting videos, where she speaks slower with simpler vocab.
