Do you have fine individual strands? The reason I asked is because your hair looks so shiny....thick....and healthy 😍 We have a very similar pattern, texture and density . How do you keep it from breaking....I’m amazed at how you’re maintaining such thickness with fine strands 😍 . I’m slowly learning that I have to be even more careful when I’m styling my hair because of how fine my strands are...since I realized .... I have fine, medium density hair, which means prone to break easily 😬. Just when I think 🤔 I’m doing good with my hair, I start to realize I need to be really really gentle with my hair.

You take a stand of your hair and place it in 4 oz. cup n of (room temperature) water. Let your strands stand for 2 to 4 min. If your hair floats to the top, you have low porosity hair. The stand will sink to the bottom of the cup opposite for high porosity hair.
I have a question, what would happen if I left the eco styling gel all in my hair? Would their be a residue or would it be hard and crunchy like most gels or would it just stay?

Now I'm using only BB Oil moisturizer with jbco with aloe and I think it don't work anymore for my hair. I want my hair to be like you jess not dry.
I know I'm late, but I have low porosity hair and think I can help. Spray your hair with water. If you can see the beads of water on your hair, you have low porosity hair. Notice that when Jess was wetting her hair, her hair absorbed the hair immediately (high porosity). This applies to hair products as well. If the products just sit on the hair strands, you will notice a "white cast" that will take hours sometimes even a whole day for your hair to absorb. If this happens, you have low porosity hair. Tip: if you have low porosity hair, use the LCO method instead of the LOC method. Also, be wary of products with too much protein. Low porosity hair is more likely to get protein overload. I had it before, not fun. My hair was super hard, and brittle. You can still use protein, just maybe not every week. I hope this helps
Right where your part ends is where my hair seems to get fizzy or the curl pattern seems different. I apply it as much as possible to every section. Any suggestions???
U should look up videos with girls who have 4c hair tbh. They can give u the best advice because they have the same type. I doubt she will be able to give u the right tips. Her hair looks 3b or 3c. I completely different curl pattern. There are completely different ways to care for both hair types
