Und - die drei kleinen Wellen des Planetengetriebes bekommen kein Fett? Die Hohlwelle vorn die Ausrückt hätte dich bestimmt auch über frisches Fett gefreut. Sonst ganz ok.
Hi mate do you think the worn out brushes could be causing a high pitched whining noise on my vw starter motor after it has started the engine? Usually lasts for about 2-3 seconds.
ƎP actually i have starter problem too. Already dissemble the starter but dont know where to buy the brush box for starter model 0001 121 435. I ask some of spare part shop around my town they said they didn’t have it. Can i use the brush box that different starter model? Or need to use the 121 model only?
How about replacing the (main, central) bushing, Bosch Code SBU9022 (i'm not sure if this is exactly the code, probably yes), because this bushing worn relatively quickly and this is responsible for many noises vw diesel owners hear when starting the engine. The starter is already dismounted, the entire bushing & oil seal set is somewere at 6-7 euros, why not?
I have 2008 VW Passat, is this the same? Would it be difficult to remove from the vehicle? It’s a diesel. I’m an idiot, but can follow your video, so thank you.
Thanks for the very nice and detailed video👍
Thanks man, today i repaired my starter thx to you...

I'm afraid it's something else. Because the brushes do not move when the engine is started.
What is that spray you use to clean up the starterz. Should have mention it in the video
brake cleaner
