- An IIT, IIM Graduate at Mckinsey takes his life allegedly due to high work pressure. While the high paying jobs and placements after IIM seems fascinating, you should know the reality behind the extreme stress and working hours that goes behind it.
Moreover, the consulting and investment banking roles do come with extremely long work hours, but at the same time if the team's culture is toxic, it adds to the pressure and becomes unbearable. Often in a competitive environment. toxicity at work becomes the norm and empathy takes a back seat.
IN this video I talk about the reality of high paying jobs after IIM, the ugly side of consulting and investment banking, and how IIM students year after year follow the herd to pick up these jobs despite the clear signs of warning

I joined Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in 2021 delhi 99.98%ile ur cat leaving a central government job of 2 yr work ex, being glorified to study at that top b school, 3 months down the line i pressed quit button. EVERY LINE SAID IN VIDEO IS SO TRUE EVEN TODAY. Placement com and senior talk like trash they make us sleep just 3 4 hrs simply because that's how work culture is. 2023 I joined public sector bank as officer, yes i earn just 70k in hand but i am happy atleast and i have 0 liabilities

this video was an eye opener i am a 3rd year ug student and i was just thinking of IIM as the place to get good packages and exposure but now i understood that i need to see that a good package should not be at cost of one's mental health .

Sabse achhi baat yahi lagti hai anant bhaiya humein ek holistic vision provide karte hai ... ive seen many linked people from top b school jo sirf yahi btate hai ki iim ke bina ya phir tier 1 institute ke bina tum kuch nahi kar sakte and you should not waste your money ... lekin 3.2L aspirants hai and seats 10-20k hai to baki sab log kya karein ? Kya wo failure hai ?
This video was meant for the right audience,little did Ananta knew that people taking CAT are actually very naive to understand the depth of it. It should better be targeted to the students who are already in a B-school than the ones aspiring to be in one.

Sir bba ke liye new education policy toh 4 saal ka ho gya hai lekin 3 saal bad bhi app bba complete kar sakte hai 4 saal ke liye apka mba 1 saal ho jayega or 3 years ke liye 2 year jaisa rehta hai too konsa better hoga or 1 saal me mba ke liye ki SIBM, NMMIS, IIM's or dusre acche b school allow honge aur kya sir sare b school apna mba programme 1 year me shift kar rahe hai.

In MBA what is the difference in role we get from top iims as compared to colleges like tapmi in marketing like nestle its goes iim ahmedabad as well as other tier 2 as well as tier 3 colleges so what is the difference between placements apart from salary
The roles offerd in top b school are management trainee roles which trains a person to be a brand manager in a company or a area sales manager but in tear 2 or tear 3 colleges they offer's roles related to digital marketing,communications and public relations which has relatively lesser pay.

Sometimes im not able to solve a question so i look at the solution when after few days when i retry the question still im not able to remember the logic.
If such questions are low in number then it would be easy to make notes but such questions are many in number.

You can fill new application but try to contact the administration first and see if that helps

Investment banking will not be recommended for work life. But bfsi is fine. Corporate finance is also there. So in finance as well there are roles that offer good worklife

Bro only few lucky people get the chance of being SC. Don't waste it behind IIMs. Study for UPSC or RBI. You can clear that easily.

Hi bhaiya, please reply if you are reading. I Am 16 In 11th class preparing for ipmat indore. I just heard people from iim commit suicide too like why.. even after doing so much hardwork do they not like their job or their work pressure kills them . If all of this is true then it is better for me to be with my parents and run my father's store . I don't know. can't i find jobs with normal working hours after iims like of my 9, 10 hours . Literally 14 hr for 6 days sounds impossible with no life . What advice can you give to me ? Please reply 😢
If your store is doing good then why do you want to run in this rat race and do a job. Be your own boss and simply enjoy life. Don't be a academic sheep . Study hard but don't let job be your entire goal.
@@rishibajari yes my father store is decent but still there is a lot of labour work . My father goes at 8 and comes at 10 in night still in his late 40s. I personally prefer a 10 hr job with 5 days a week . Simple with no risk and tension.
@@tokyo-213 no risk and tension is impossible to find in most corporates especially in India. Also sitting in your own shop is very less stressful. Mostly the job is to handle customers , but in corporates life is very different. You can hire someone for your shop if you want work life balance. You can't find a very stable , no nonsense job in India.

99+, if average communication, 98 if good communication skills.
Had a similar profile and sat for CAT'23, frankly you need at least 99.4%ile for AB. C focuses more on CAT score so more would be required
If you are a CA you will only compete with aspirants in CA category (IIM A admission criteria) don't worry, even students with 90-95 percentile got admission in IIM A,
