This was a great allegory of overcoming PTSD. Great performances. Reminded me of Gaslight a bit at first and then went it's own way. Ida Lupino is fantastic, as she always was. Thanks, PizzaFlix!
I've been a fan of Ida Lupino ever since I since her in "High Sierra" with Bogart when I was a kid. She was a very intelligent and business savvy woman, as well as a terrific actress.
Some Rebecca reverberations here. Lydia... sure that was her name. Oh I get it. It’s Rebecca but the ‘third woman’ is now the mother not the housekeeper and she’s helpful not harmful.
