Got this video as an ad on my home feed and I’m glad I did! I’ve always wondered about these things. Great video 👌🏼

Very clearly delivered information. I am going to check my winter wheels for missing rings because they tend to vibrate at speed.

Do you have to put them in the back as well? Like if I don’t have them in the back, will they still cause vibration?

I have a center bore of 66.5 and the choices that i have is either 66.1 or 67.1. Which one do i get?

Hub rings just help with alignment when putting tires on so they are all even…if ur car vibrates its because they didnt use rings and ur aftermarket wheels are a bit off from one another.

I have a wheel adapter with a 74.1 center that has no outer lip. I’m putting a 74.1 wheel on this adapter. What can I use to make sure it stays hub centric? Adapter to wheel.

My wheel hub is exactly 69.5mm but the only hub rings that i can find are 70mm will these still be good enough or will that 0.5mm difference affect it?

I think expansion from heat plays a part in this.

Hi, my aftermarket alloy wheel centre bore is : 73.1mm, and the centre bore of my car’s hub is 64.1mm. So now what size hub ring is recommended in this case. Please advise.

Are there different sizes o.d./i.d. of the hub centric rings for the same model make if car? Are they wheel specific? I've used hub centric rings that came with the wheel always wondered if I could just buy any type?

If you have the center bore diameter of your wheel and you know the hub size of your car, those are the two numbers you need to obtain the correct size rings.

Not running hub rings is ghetto AF

    • @MRMAN-wb1tv

A ghetto is a place that Jewish people were put in that segregated them, because of who they were. And the Germans called it "Ghetto.

Disappointed on this shill video. Lots of info left out to make them seem more necessary than they are. I personally run them, but only as idiot proofing. Just don't be dumb putting your wheels on and, as long as your wheels are lug-centric (a legitimate function, despite what the video says) you'll be fine. I get it, you want to eliminate people doing things wrong and blaming your product for it, so you idiot proof. I'd be fine with this vid from konig, but I expected better from grm

Oh come on, you think they're going to make any profit selling hubcentric rings? They are $3 to $6 each, You just spent $1,000 on wheels and tires. There is absolutely zero reason other than laziness to not run hub centric rings.

@@otm646 weight, money, the fact that there's no reason other than laziness to run hub centering rings. They cost literal cents to make when plastic, tons of margin. I sell them. There's money there.

@@noncog1 except we DON'T sell them. That's right, we do not sell hub rings currently. That is all done by an installer, retailer, or at your own discretion. We literally were only looking to share some wheel tech. Sorry you're disappointed.
