He will eventually beat them. All of them. Orphan and Laurence was hardest for me. The boss he is stuck on was so hard for me my first play through. He took me hours and hours!!! Lol. Best feeling ever when you finally beat them!

Logarius is alot easier if you use the terrain to your advantage such as the pillars especially when he unleashes his noble phantasm

Paarl is one of those bosses where you don't lock on.
Edit: Always send your elevators back to save time.

Bloodborne is the gaming equivalent of joining the special forces. It's 10% physical and 90% psychological. It's hard until you unlock that state of mind. Then it becomes simple.
Absolutely. Only Elden ring is different in that regard (bosses are multiple times harder cause they went for timed delayed hits, fake ticks etc. all to annoy so perfect dodges matter and require studying).
For me I got that after beating blood starved beast. The psychological is so important in bloodborn.
It's literally fear of the enemies in game.
@Return of Slavia Elden ring was legit balanced around you having summons. The games only works like that if you handicap yourself cause summons are busted and a dumb way to balance a game around.
@@davidc. possibly. I did summon less run and I wouldn't really call it a handicap as bosses have some of the most obvious moves and polished of all souls games. Dodge has never been more impactful basically. Their timings are all tricky though like in no soul game before.

You gotta be patient with Logarius. Don't get greedy with hits and use the towers as cover from his projectile spam.
Also, doing a charge attack at his back when he's switching phases will make phase two considerably easier.
For projectiles you can just hit or shoot the sword in the ground and the all the projectiles go away
Logarius is the boss that made my friend realize that parrying was not optional in this game.
Also, you can do damage to the sword he puts in the ground to destroy it and stop that attack. Shooting it or hitting it works.
Parrying is literally the best way to beat him. His second phase becomes trivialised when you just spam parry before every attack
I got that from Gascoigne fight. I thought: I must be doing something wrong. This guy is destroying me. Later, I realized the fight is completely made for you to learn to parry otherwise you are just lucky.
@@mecagoenbb nah the fight is made for you to abuse the Molotovs, you’re given like 6 pop the music box lock on throw 3 molotovs and he’s dead. Same way blood starved beast gives you nine pungent blood cocktails if you look for them the game gives you the thing that trivialises the fight if you use them correctly
whats funny is i beat logarius last night in a crazy lucky run of just dodging and being hyper aggressive with him. i was too focused on 9dodging his melee i forgot my gun existed lmfao. possible im just overleveled for that area tho. i went to him after accessing nightmare of mensis
Actually at 9:27 the item you got was dropped by the enemy. The actual item on the ground is an apparel set.

I struggled with Logarius for a while as well, until I accidentally discovered that you can shoot the damn sword that shoots blades at you., You can actually lock into the sword when he puts it on the ground.
And also, you can spam him with parry, don’t use the Blunderbuss because it’s relatively slow, use the hunter pistol.

I always though logarius was one of the easier bosses. Master wilhem once said “gut gud” but we must also take into account the situation that Laurence describes as a “skill issue”
As expected with defeating any boss like defeating logarius you look back and realize it shouldn't have taken that long and it's much more simpler, like patience is big with this guy fr 😭
You can destroy the swords he spawns, makes the fight a lot easier

The flying swords come from a different sword he sticks in the ground. He telegraphs it hella hard, so you can usually run up to him no break the sword as soon as it’s down before he attacks again

You can also parry logarius, especially when he does the flying attack. also use the rally mechanic more
Tip for repeat playthroughs, go into the witches of hemwick boss, gain the insight then BHM out, spend all your insight, and go back then the sickle wielding mad ones won't spawn. Also never fully kill one witch without having the other one low as im pretty sure once one dies the other one gets mad annoying with ranged grab attacks. Plus the other one can get revived as you saw.
Tip: Be aggressive on the first phase, but then dodge backwards after the fifth or sixth hit to avoid the skull he spawns in front. During the second phase, destroy the sword he stabs into the ground. It makes the fight easier. When he leaps up, lock on and then shoot him before he lands the attack.
Parry, parry, parry.

Hey Floverse love youre content and I hope you beat this boss so you can go to the dlc some day and a little tip: you can stop the flying sword if you destroy the sword Logarius stabs into the ground, this way the sword won't damage you all the time. Good luck against him.
After beating the game with a waste of skin class leveled to 10, I learned every single boss pattern and even tackled the chalice dungeons cuz I needed some high level bloodgems. Martyr Logarius was a fun fight, took me the longest to learn, literally fought him for an entire week straight for like 5 hours a day

You can break Logarius' staff when he plants it down to fire swords, parrying is crucial and will help you out a lot, don't be greedy, be patient, level up your weapon and probably use a weapon that attacks faster like the saw blade that's just preference tho, he was the reason I stopped playing the game 6 years ago but after playing through the game again I managed to beat him in 5 attempts using that strategy, also put on some arcane armor
little tip: the sword he plants on the ground in phase 2 is the thing summoning all the blades in the air. you can destroy it in one hit :)

I advise you go for viscerals (parrys), don't be greedy with hits and dodge at the right time.
I have also noticed you don't know what a back visceral is, go to the back of an enemy been unnoticed and hit with a charged attack and perform your parry. Yep in their helpless back

They're not that hard honestly, you get a free backstab on one for a start if you're clever & then it's just distancing & parry central, or if you have arcane/bloodtinge...then that 😂

A good tip: a charged heavy behind an enemy let's you get a visceral attack(parry finisher)
You can shoot where he place the blade in the ground that will make the stop to the sword fying toward you.

I think that Logarius is the hardest boss in bloodborne, at least for the main game... when he sticks his sword into the ground, shoot it so you avoid the sword rain. Also use the runes that give you back health and qs bullets after a successful visceral attack.
Blood starved beast and him gave me the most trouble, I almost quit at the beast. Also gerhman have me hell of a time as well
I really recommend you to go to the upper cathedral ward. Its a secret area. You get the key to there from yhargul
You're doing better than I was my first time fighting him. Bloodborne forces you to be more aggressive and in your face, dash forward instead of retreating. Stay focused and shot or hit the sword in the ground when he spams swords at you and I think you got him.
You can break big bosses' limbs, which is why Darkbeast Paarl fell over
in phase 2 he puts a sword into the ground that summons the blades. You can break the sword he puts in the ground to stop the blades.
@Floverse STOP using two handed melee on Logarius. He staggers easily with Gun shots when he is attacking with melee. Also, you're supposed to dodge behind him and when he uses the ability with the shooting blades you have to destroy the blade that he places on the ground. This boss is easy.

You have to kill the sword he plants in the ground to stop the rain of swords. Best to just lock on and shoot it right after he plants it. Then just parry him to death.
It maybe frustrating at times but enjoy that first play through. You only get it one time, savor every moment.

Definitely look around and do everything you can to find more umbilical cords and use them all in the items menu, trust bro
Once you figure out logarius’ interrupt/parry window, he’s a snap, even at lower levels. You might have to do it flawless with low health, but it’s not as hard as you’d think. Mastering parry in this game made a world of difference for my enjoyment. The fact that I’m shit at parrying in all the other games and refuse to pvp because of it is another story. Love the content man.
For the sword storm Just shoot the sword as soon as he’s done planting it it goes away immediately

Logarius is a hard fight but one of the best in the game. Your biggest mistake was not hitting the summoned sword immediately to destroy it. I cannot wait for you to try chalice dungeon bosses tho :P

And for The Elevator problem Just like Send The Elevator down and then quickly get off so the elevator Will be where you are when you reaspon
Upgrading your weapon and equipping blood gems makes a lot more difference than just leveling up your character, focus on your weapon rather than just levels.
Pro tip: you can actually destroy that stake he puts down for the knives, just run up to the stake and hit it.
Cant wait for when u reach Orphan of Kos and Laurence
One suggestion for this boss is parrying his attacks it will make it 10 times easier once you get the timing down
When the boss puts down the swords You can break the Swords to stop it from Attacking you You just need to hit once And it breaks

This guy is one of the hardest in the main game (may be different for other people) if you want to make quick or of him use beast blood pellet and fire paper and use a faster weapon like saw cleaver/spear. Also, you may want to go to a false depth chalice dungeon to get high blood gems. Look online for them bc I have no idea what they are and have used them only once for a ps trophy. Depth 15 gems and above are extremely powerful for where you are at and any stronger would be overkill for example, when I fought martyr logarius in ng+3 I thought it was impossible until I remembered a depth 19 arcane gem I had (max is 20) and put it on the holy moonlight sword (dlc version of the sword you're using and basically moonlight great sword from other souls games) and proceded to thanos snap logarius out of existence
Pay attention to where he places the sword right before the sword barrages
