- These are the things CarX players currently hate in the game. Most importantly we need new proper drift maps added into the game. I know the devlopers are busy with CarX Streets, but they've been busy with that for years. Also CarX Street did get delayed 2 days ago as well. Let me know what you think should change in CarX Drift Racing in the comments!

In Live For Speed there is a great map editor, where you can place cones, clip point, lines for outside zones, barrier... It would be interesting to have the same in CarX
game engineer knows, customization needs a lot of editing boundaries & pin point which gonna took a while to do in large sized map. Up for this, but hope they can make it stable & safe. Then, talkin bout safe, it'd be some bugs, but let's say we never know what to fix until we found the broken, look forward to it later...

sounds not like great map editor at all) Track editor...mb. But not MAP) Map edit it is about create ground poligons, morph terrain, edit sky box and all at map include water and roads

What I would like to see in carx:
-Tune presets (saving tunes and loading them when needed)
-Keeping multiplier when doing a 360
-better Steering animations in first person (the hand look really weird)
-idk if its possible but peer-to-peer or self-hosted servers (Servers running on your local pc, maybe that could be more reliable)
-Bigger Servers, (Currently only 16 people can join, and I think it could be a bit more, but not too much since the maps would have to be bigger)
I always wondered why it isn't 20 players to a server. Enough room to feel like a bigger lobby without overflowing the server with players

That car bug sound must be with cars that have more complex sounds and when drifting together the game has too many sounds playing and mutes some of them.
Priority should be YOUR car tho, we need to hear our revs

yeah, the bug only happens in multiplayer, have never had it happen in singleplayer. also rotaries seems to be affected the worst
I've never had the engine sound glitch, but I only use the RHD cars.
I like that they added engine swaps, but I didn't realize that once I could unlock it, I could only put it in one vehicle before I have to unlock it AGAIN.
SHOULD be one and done when it comes to unlocking them
Heya Goosiest, we love your work and what you are trying to accomplish for the community. Adding to your livery list, a zoom function and grouping function would be awesome on top of what you have mentioned.
They could even just expand off of some of the .aps they already have too. Pacific hills I believe has an AWESOME little "out of map" section that actually has a highway and off ramps and a big spiral off ramp that has like 4 layers lol. It's sooo fun but barely anyone knows about it, I almost forgot that you can also drift the big mountain that has the windmills on it!! It's really narrow and fun. Only downside is the colossians with objects is alittle messed up because they never polished up that section and you can fall off the road and can't really get back on.. but it's still fun lol. LA block also has the highway outside of the map you can easily get to and drift on that or under it and it has a few fun lines I've found myself. More people need to try getting to these spots and trying them out. It's hard getting out of some of the maps boundaries but not the 2 I just mentioned. Those are really easy and I could show anyone that really wants to know
I've asked the developers about adding in modders maps, they said it's not possible at all, the devs would have to remake the map from scratch 😢 I think that yeah an in-game map editor is what we need most! 🤞
Then they should come out with a DLC of new maps, like 5 or 10 in one DLC. Like 5 new maps at least would literally be worth the money.
It is all having to do with money. They are fucking greedy now. They have made more than enough money to optimize ALL of the current games they have out. They want NFS to fail so they can, wait for it....cash in on it and thats just fucking sad. They need to just stay in their lane lol
thats not true. as a map creator, i can tell u that they have to convert them. yes. they need to load the map into unity and they have to change things like the cameras and the folder structure. for the different types of physic meshes. they dont need to build them new from scratch. they said it because they dont want it. if they would do it, the community would realize that the modders doing a better job than the devs. look at assetto. its the perfect example for what i mean. BUT a game with full mod support is the best they could do...

Thanks Goosiest for being the voice of a lot of players like us! They should make a mothly map contest where everyone makes a map and the winner gets rewarded.. so creators knows exactly what is likeable to do and developers gets people hyped and happy..
they should add more JDM tracks like Meihan C Course, why stop at Ebisu and Kami Road?
Why not the full Meihan Complex?

i know it prob wont happen, but the exhaust sound tuning thing from need for speed heat would be great in carx. actually give your car a sorta unique sound, and flames ofc, lots of flames.

you put so much effort into your videos, and then also keep it on a consistent upload schedule. which is very hard to do especially for a game in carx where the contnent is limited. keep on going man youll make it to a mil 💯

On the Logitech G920, there's setting misssing in the advanced settings tab. Like steering assist, for a new player is increadibly annoying to spin as soon as you clutchkick or pull the handbrake.

Thanks goose as someone who has 40 days played the biggest thing is the lag. Bunch of great lines on west coast, pacific hills, la block, and atron if your tired of the same lines on east togue and Redrock.
1- interior customization like dash and everything
2- suit race or normal outfit,gloves and helmet
3- graffic(better texture)
Thts my list I would love to see in car x after yours
The devs should change the way cars feel when you try to make a grip racing build since they already have some race tracks
Interesting to have big open world map 😅
- Events like on mobile version for different sort of rewards
- Car icons in catalogue saves as the actual car looks like after body and livery modified / added like on mobile version
- Clans / Clubs / Crews with tags before the name like on mobile version (no tags on mobile version)
- Multiplayer mode for cups with the achieved symbols next to your name
- In-game friends list
- In-game private whispers
- Map editor
I'm also someone who is bad at livery creation and would appreciate the addition of sharing them is something I really hope the devs work on.
i dont know who told u the story @Goosiest :D ...but yes its true. we contacted the devs more than a half year ago and asked them to implement our map (Yama ga Tomaranai) officially into the game for all. we told them that we dont want anything for it and we would give them all rights for it. but there was no interest. i dont understand it. everything on the map (except 2 deco objects) were built by ourselves. but they just passed us around like a cheap bottle of alcohol until we talked with the same dev a second time... without a result. thx btw that u used our map in your vids. i like to watch ur vids^^
•We could use headlight color options even if it's with using the livery creator.
•Some sort of LED underglow
•Team or 2v2 XDS, let us and a buddy take on two players and fight for the top spot with an equal shared reward for the winning team like it does for normal xds
Nice video! Personally the audio bug is way worse for me. The sound jumps between silent and ear blasting loud constantly to the point where I often play with no sound for the sake of my eardrums.
I agree that they need to have a complete drift tune set up for each car, tired of tuning all the time

Hi goosiest i just wanted say that your videos are very good and you should keep up with the content
what would work too is a own ingame mod support like in farming simulator. they implemented their own mod site into the game which is synchronized between consoles and pc. so u can download and use what ever u want. and if u join a server it will download everything u need.
here's some suggestions 1 Updated cars a lot of cars don't have a lot body kit options like the s14 or the mark 2 jzx100 n 90 2 headlight bulbs color we can change the tint but say if someone wants blue headlights aka LED we should have that option 3 this might be in the next update but dashboard customization like on mobile like we should be able to change our interior speedometers and gauges like on that dlc d1 s15 has
There's a way around the freecam audio bug, press F3 and use that freecam and the audio is the same. But yeah the devs should fix the normal freecam still 👍
The top things for me are these 2:
- driving and the car shakes subtly from left to right before you reach a top speed
- the motion graphics on the wheels when they spin, i'd like to actually be able to see the 'reverse-motion effect' on the rims when drifting

A track editor, sometimes I wish it'd be like one that Ridge Racer Unbounded have (maybe anyone remember that game?), so it'd let us put each part of "city", or "environment" road layout we want, then at the end we're able to put any props there, it'd be cool honestly
Id also love there to be a car customization/tune save spaces like on mobile. Like i can have different bodykits,paints,liveries,and tunes for one car without having to change the paint for a livery without having to put stickers to change the car’s color for a different livery. Also so if i want a different bodykit for a race/grip setup or a drift setup.

.Cars to be added to take advantage of different areas in city/ Offroad tires should be added to tuning shop next to street and racing tires

•Quad S2
•Honda s2000
& addition of many other Cars already present within the CarX brand( Maybe even UTV for offroad. They are street legal here in Florida).
Custom races- allow players to challenge other players in lobby. Set custom waypoints through city ie start @ gas station in suburb, through highway, around the Eiffel and back. Custom races will prolong life of game
•Custom interior- interior could be more detailed along with options to customize it whether change color or layout of interior. Radio should dynamically display in game music. Also dashboard should be dynamic, all cars display same 300km/h and 10k RPM. When headlights turn on at night the dashboard should be lit as well. Also allow for underglow along with color options. Dynamic rearview/side mirror for races
•livery shop- ability to create custom liveries & option to share as well (CarX Drift 2) More layers as well, more layers allows for more creativity & original liveries
•More refined engine sounds. Some cars still have high pitched noise from turbo. Some cars sounded better a few updates ago.
•Communication- a system that allows players to communicate via emotes and or text whether they are online or "offline." Ability to add/block players & a friend list. From same menu you could challenge other players to races or challenges. Even a voicechat may be nice if implemented well.
•Clubs importance- Clubs can be used for weekly events similar to CarX Drift Racing 2, players could have option to join club to race against other clubs for dominance of area in the city or Mountain Dr. Players can replay events until the end of event at which they are rewarded cash & gold if their team wins that event. Reward is based upon performance in the event similar to CarX Drift Racing 2 (longer youre in lobby, the more points you will more likely accumulate before leaving server) The more you replay said event the more likely you will receive a bigger payout & effect the outcome of your team winning the event. This also gives players another option in grinding for funds in game.
•Controller Support- dont mind using accelerometer but know some ppl seriously game on mobile devices. Wheel support & controller support should be present & tested before the release of PC version
•Multiple Tunes for one car- depending on if its a time attack, drift race, or offroad event, multiple tunes should be available for one car to choose from (Similar to CarX Drift Racing 2)
•Proper engine specs- would love to see 11,000 RPM for the Hachi Roku.
Something I want first is like you said a highway map with traffic and races !
Or a map editor to make all this ourself !
Adding the old tracks and some CarX 2 content would be nice too
For the consoles we also need a freecam in online lobbys and zoom in decal editor, on ps4 you can zoom using the ps4s accessibility but quacking blurry

1:12 Lately with the newest update there's another engine sound bug. in third person when you're looking forward. the sounds are normal. when you look behind you the engine sounds get higher for some reason.

We should be able to have a few presets for paints, like we have on liverys, so we can change the paint and sync it with your livery
Let me explain what I mean. Imagine that I want a pink livery set up, but I painted my car green for some reason. Some parts of my car will be green, like the Side mirrors or the spoiler. And now you will say… but you can go to paints and change each part color individually!…. Yeah! But what happens If I need to create another livery with different colors?

we should have a live video that shows what our suspension mods look like before we join a server so if our tires are clipping through the bumper we could see beforehand to know what it would look like

Other Improvement for carX would be the turbo whistle sounds, they can be better, and maybe better flames, or our big badaboom rear cannons moving a bit
We need a feature to zoom in and be able to make smaller writing on liverys
I found that the engine sound bug it can be fixed by just lowering the engine sounds of other players. I used to hate when my car sounds would cut out because they would almost never come back, so I lowered players car engine sounds and I never had that problem again.
Also something I thought would be cool is having multiples of the same car so you can have different tunes/engines on.

me and my friend were talking and we said if they ever took out the money glitch with the lynx and lumber jack then they should add ways to make money, my friends said that you should be able to make livery’s and sell them to people to make money in the game, not only that but people should be able to upload their livery with out without a cost with in game money
would also love, as a keyboard player a simulation steering mode/setting like forza, i feel so out of control when my wheels are doing thimgs im not meaning for them to do.
I think be able to change your car while in sever would be a really good feature

I would like to see bigger maps more cars and make it easier to unlock the engine mods if people don't have online or if they have bad internet
working mirrors,when u change an exshaust it has diffrent nosies, make the smoke stay around for longer,better flames,bags for stanced cars,tire wear, not being able to put like a turbo on a engnie swap car.

My friend has been having an issue since the newest update where he can’t join or create online servers it just loads for a second then nothing happens which really sucks because this is one of our favorite games we both play ps5

-free drone style camera like with mods, to use in replay and real time online
-impliment a real method of getting money instead of sweating rx8 west coast arena
-drivetrain swaps ?
-Livery sharing online
-HP, drivetrain and car tune restricted servers (similar to tyre grip), so I can finaly have balenced cars.
-and a thinner road hills map, initial D -ish so can we get proper japanese touge drifting.

i know you can't do this on xbox or playstation but with kino mod you can remove the tint on the "roof cam" or cockpit.
Just throwing this out there, but if you (developers) are going to put vehicles with a 7 speed transmission, make it possible to map 7th gear as well. 6th gear is limit.
I pre ordered this game on Xbox and found your videos on TH-cam that was the good part. After playing the game for a few weeks now I get an error message when trying to join or create a public lobby. That's the part I hate. Good game overall with the potential to be one of the best car games out there. If the devs listen to just a few of the suggestions you have made in your videos it would be a step towards greatness.🤙

Being able to purchase and own more than one of each car model has been something all my friends and I have wanted from the start. To be able to have a low powered e36 for chill driving and then jump into a big power gripped up e36 for more formula drift type driving would be insane

Imagine if you could go into the training part of car x where it can record you in any map for atleast 5 minutes ..you press retry .. then you could follow your shadow and tandem with it .. then hit retry again and be able to have a 3 way Tandem with your self ... then one could be making tandem videos without playing online

Yooooo. I always wondered about the random people who would act like you were invisible and I also know I've felt people or bumped into people that I could not see. I've played over 300 hours of carx streaming in the past 2-3 months and I feel as tho I could do a similar video but it just wouldn't compare to this one lol. Its crazy all the stuff you notice when you basically live inside a game. 🎮

yes yes yes a new drift track is definitely needed man and from a consoles players pov the lag has always been quite bad when players join/leave

Two things, other than new tracks!! Please new tracks, but top 32, first off if you get a buy run later in the tournament, I've gotten kicked twice from the tournament after running just a buy run (without crashing) and getting a score. Two if you hit someone while in tandem comp, after they first hit the wall causing you to run into them, you get charged with a collision, which in turn you lose. Melarchy, but I do love the game/new update.
more new wheels. there are so many wheel packs on the steam workshop already. if the devs were to work with the creators and slightly change the modded wheels then there could be endless options.
Bring a rotary swap and make engine swaps easy to get, also bring Australian cars such as the newer Falcons and some older ones maybe even add in some trucks from America such as the ford lightning and the chevy C10 car X street is going to flip when released because of it not having existing carx drift features and it won't be fun untill another year or so give us one last big update for carx so we can wait longer for carx street to lift off

Make the steering in dynostand the way it was before. Now everytime I wanna go around the corner fast with a S20 it spins out off control
i just recently got back into car x, and didnt notice anything different. a few new cars, and that was it. its great they are working on a new title, but they should still be improving car x drift.
you can raise the livery count to 1000 using LTE (livery extension tool) which comes with zml.
Also if anyones knows, what is the map at 6:39, and where to download it. Thanks in advance
i think cars should be more weightier in general, they feel so light, i love the feel of gravy garage in ac+ wdts cars.
