- Lordsburg to Silver City on the CDT. This is a stretch with few natural water sources and cow tanks that were becoming depleted. As I walked out of Lordsburg I wondered if there would be enough water to make it through.

Nice to see some alligator junipers, they are really ancient trees. I love them.
I am loving not just your journey, but also your film making. SOOO glad the algorithm found me. You deserve 5000 subscribers.
Hope to watch you to completion. Be safe and Happy trails
Thank You. I hope that I can keep it up for the entire trail.
Just got back from a school camping trip including 2 days of hiking the Heysen Trail. One student said they thought I should have a camping channel. With these vids in the back of my mind I was thinking what could I possibly offer the TH-cam camping community 😂
How to hike with 30 teenagers. I feel like that’s a missing you tube niche.
Great video, excellent country around Silver City. We were there in 2013 and 2017, briefly on the CDT and in the Big Ditch. That Gila Hike & Bike shop used to belong to Janet's cousin. Was put on to your videos today after a wedding.
Hi Ken, Great to hear from you. Small world. can’t believe Janet’s cousin used to be in Silver City.
@@uptothehills2053 Large world, but lots of connections. Janet's relatives are still in Silver City, including aunt Dorothy who is close to 100 years old. Looking at a CDT map I see we've been close to the CDT in Colorado (Rocky Mountain NP) and Montana (Glacier NP). Great to see you going well!
love the channel but PLEASE remove those noises with the stars.
