  • We leave the comfort of our friends' house in Kingston and head east toward Montreal! to visit Marco's cousin. In between, we stop in Brockville, where friends and Marco's parents visit. We camp in Brockville and Glengarry Campground. We cycle the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail, the Thousand Islands Parkway, the paths into Corwall, and the Route Verte!

Fantastic video once again. I enjoyed watching you ride one of my regular routes. From my front door to upper Canada and back is exactly 220 KM - usually stop @ upper canada for a pecan butter tart and head back enjoying a tailwind and the waterfront trail. You know damn well when you hit the Qc border without needing a sign as the pavement changes drastically. Great video!

Amazing journey and so nice you have access to so much family and friends. The waterfront trail is amazing. I live in Kingston and love doing the 1000 Island Parkway and want to get back to do the Long Sault Parkway.

It really is great to have that cycle friendly trail & Parkway so close! Keep pedaling!

I too have experienced the madness that is Montreal detours while on a bicycle - the rest of your route through Quebec should be much more enjoyable! Ride safe.

Thanks! Our ride out of Mtl was great...no issues. We are already in NB and the rest if Quebec was great, as you said. The Route Verte are wonderful.

The Long Sault Parkway was a lovely section with very little traffic and so many wonderful views. That spot was the perfect picnic location.

We both ride Surly Ogres bought in 2014. They are metal frames with a mix of components: Deore hubs and derailleurs, Avid brakes, Brooks saddles, Alexrims wheels... They are no nonsense bikes.

I checked your channel and saw some problems. Your channel and performance is low. Your SEO score is very low. It is getting views because of this problem.

I'm sure it is. I'm making the videos for friends and family (and for ourselves) so SEO performance is irrelevant to me. Cheers!
