BRAND NEW CONCEPT! | Drop Tower Coaster | No Limits 2

  • Years back, I thought of a roller coaster concept that was like the inverse of a flying coaster, which caused riders to invert with every rise and feel and upright sensation when dropping, similar to a drop tower. But this ride isn't just about those drops as you navigate countless unique elements with this strange position. In order to bring this idea to fruition, I simply used the Vekoma Flying Dutchman model and ran the trains backward. So have fun a enjoy a ride on this one of a kind coaster!

    I understand that a being stuck upside-down on the lift hill is a major flaw. This has been fixed in my other version where there are launches instead.

    Cool concept but I'm not sure about the chain lift... maybe the vehicles keep the chairs upright until it gets to the top of the hill then lowers them into position for the tower drop effect

    • @jesh_
      @jesh_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah I was thinking I redid the model I would make it have 4d trains.

  • @jonathanwoods3136
    @jonathanwoods3136 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think this design is feasible but with a few changes. Something like the use of vekomas new flying trains that can rotate on the vehicle themselves, and possibly the use of a shuttle system would make this make a little more sense. Imagine getting through a normal flying coaster with a launch but instead of just ending, you head up a spike that holds you mid ride and you drop just like a drop tower while you’re in that now seated position. It could for sure work and would be a very neat concept for sure. And then you could also claim a first for a backwards flying experience lol.

    I think a boomerang layout would be best. Leave station head first up a spike. Hold at top then drop. Go through short layout and return backwards. Because on back feet first head backwards the hole time could result in some horrible forces and jarring to the neck and head.
