Amazing how much artistry these girls have, they arrange their own harmonious blending.
It's cool that they shot this in NYC. Times Square, Staten Island with the Statue of Liberty in the background. Brooklyn and on the Brooklyn Bridge. The background vocals were insane. Who needs to hear the Lady Gaga version when you have this version. It would fall pitifully short.
I can always trust 4th Impact to shake my whole body of feelings! I love them so, so much feelings together with mastering singing! I can always trust You!
I’m happy I recommended this to you back a few weeks ago on Twitter. It really jumped to the top of my favorite videos of theirs. The editing, the locations and the foresight as to where they would shoot this is impressive.
But the emotions in their voices really dig deep inside me on this one. These girls are so available to their fan base, and to hear them almost sound downright heartbroken is hard.

Hi that was awesome. I’m not sure if you’ve herd of him but there was another song with the name I’ll Never Love Again written by Lonnie Donegan for TomJones. Lonnie Donegan’s son Peter Donegan sings it with Tom Jones on the Voice UK. If you’re interested, it was quite amazing too.
Good reaction. I appreciate your commentary and banter. As others have mentioned, this was shot in two locations. The choice of song might have a lot more to do with events at that time. This song was edited by Celina and arranged by Mylene and was also on the heels of Mylene’s break up with a long term boyfriend, so I think it had more impact on them as a family.
Oh I didn't realise Mylene had broken up with her boyfriend. Powerful stuff then. The family are such a tight-knit bunch aren't they. So lovely to see.

from the videoing perspective........I think they were trying to keep the background people out of the shot as much as possible.....and to avoid the issue of having to ask permission....and as you said.......blissfully unaware of what was happening....unaware that they were to be in a music video....
as for meeting 4th Impact....they are extremely giving of their time....I was in manilla in 2018 and the ladies were doing a corporate gig at a 5 star hotel ballroom. I contacted big sister Ivy and she arranged for me and 2 other dreamers who were also in manilla at the time to attend their performance and then they spent an hour with us afterwards talking . We all even appeared in one of 4th Impacts blogs ( search 4th impact reminiscing our beginnings - th-cam.com/video/9r5j5R15VaA/w-d-xo.html ). so maybe its NOT a case of if/when they are in UK next ....but when YOU are in manilla next....contact ivy ( see any of their posts for how in the notes section).
I tried to arrange dinner with them last time I was there but schedules wouldnt allow. I dont plan on coming back to the Philippines at the moment which is why I said if they come to the uk. They're more likely to be touring or travelling for gigs than I am to be going back

To be honest their PERFORMERS so being in times square or grand Central station is a small crowd to these girls . Look at the stages they have been on and who they have performed for , President Duterte comes to mind . Fearless is an understatement , consument performers is what these girls are and one day I hope to meet them as well. Yes they were just in the USA but New York is still 5000 km from where I live 😁😁😎
Being on stage is different to being out in public. Trust me. I've been on stage in front of thousands of people and was a little nervous but enjoyed it, but standing up in front of a handful of people doing a work presentation and I'd do anything to get out of it.

I've had similar reactions to yours (after watching some of their more recent videos) regarding their apparent utter fearlessness while performing in the middle of huge crowds, out on the street. Just a couple months ago, Irene and Mylene did a dance performance to Jennie's "Solo," in a public square in Taipei, Taiwan, with hundreds of people milling around, and there's not a hint of intimidation detectable. (th-cam.com/video/Zk1bHfdS9x0/w-d-xo.html, if you want to check it out.) Believe it or not, I haven't met 4th Impact yet, either! But, in the immortal words of Scarlett O'Hara, "Tomorrow is another day!" Maybe you'll be cameraman on one of their music videos, in a week or two.
Dan, just subscribed to your channel and honestly it was because you react to a lot of 4i. You truly seam to love them as much as we (dreamers) do. I like your opinion on the way they sing and perform. Best of all you don't come off like some that want to be to critical about there performances and just appreciate them for what they are, four sisters doing it on there own in the fucking big world (sorry about my french) It upsets me when I read comments that they need an album of there own it's insulting! If/when they they do great! But they could sing covers forever if that's what they want so be it they do sing like angels. So thanks.
