  • @itsmrdante6274
    @itsmrdante6274 4 ปีที่แล้ว +27

    Okay so, the Sony really did better for one reason. The Note 10+ seemed kinda confused as to what it wanted to focus on. All shots were focusing on the background more than the object other than the macro one. And the first shot of the berry went to the Note because of OIS that the Xperia 5 doesn't have. Which is something that goes to Samsung. But those Samsung colors suck man. They really hate editing and they're oversharpened. I would definitely go with the Sony personally for camera. But I would never suggest people buy it instead of the Samsung because people tend to like the Samsung color production more and they also just want a simple automatic point and shoot camera. As a manual user tho, the Sony's cameras look authentic and beautiful.
    Edit: Forgot to mention video quality. The Sony still had the better video but Samsung's OIS is doing work on 4K. 1080p the Sony is definitely better with everything but 4K? Nah fam that stabilization on the Sony is kinda wack. I don't shoot videos on my phone anyway so this doesn't matter to me. In the night shots you can use a faster shutter speed to see the lighten banners better. So it's all your choice, and the Xperia definitely captured more detail so that's good. Selfie all goes to the Samsung tho. No doubt.

      @@itsmrdante6274 it is weird actually, also saw a comparison from pixel peepers of the xperia 1 and the only camera without ois the wide angle one does way better on stabilization than the other 2 with ois, there seems to be a problem with the ois not working ok with eis or not working at all, not sure if is the same case with the 5 but I hope it gets fixed with software updates, Sony always have had great stabilization even when they only use eis.

    The Sony generally has a more natural camera look, perhaps lacks absolute HDR capability and consistency in some areas. Samsung photos can look good, like the first one, but then can also bring an oversaturated and processed photo with too much lightening of shadows etc. Samsung video in auto seems more usable. I'd like to see if using the cinema pro app on Sony would help with dynamic range. Unfortunately it will still have stabilisation issues.
    For natural photos, Sony. For ready made shots, probably Samsung. If there is a way to force 1.5 aperture in the daylight you could get defocusing blur like the Sony (it has 1.6 aperture).

    I understand the sony delivers more natural colors, but that's about the only thing it has over the note 10. I don't mind the colors being off as long as i get a brilliant, bright, sharp, detailed well exposed photo with good HDR & balance of foreground & background. The Sony is weaker in areas such as exposure, HDR, sharpness & details. Sony I'll go for the Samsung & its fake boosted colors any day. Natural photos are only good when they're sharp, detailed & well exposed with good dynamic range.

  • @AndreaVentura
    @AndreaVentura 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Note 10 night mode Will never be as good as Sony (or as P30 pro).
    The reason is simple:
    ISO range with sony goes to 3200
    ISO range with Samsung goes to 800
    It means that Sony captures 4 times more light than the Samsung. Thus, to capture the same light, exposure is shorter for Sony (1/4 of the Samsung time). Thus, Sony has more chances to get a sharper photo or to get brighter photos in darker environments.
    P30 pro iso range goes up to 409600. It is 128 Times more sensitive than the Xperia, 512 times more sensitive than note 10.
    Are we still questioning who is the winner?
    Before judging which phone is better, reviewers should first take some photography lessons.
    Also: the real quality can be checked in the imagine data in the raw file, not in the jpg version of the picture..

    • @bradleyconcepcion1500
      @bradleyconcepcion1500 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If someone is going to take photography lessons why bother learning it just for a phone? May as well buy a whole DSLR/Mirrorless camera. This is a comparison of the phones auto modes which most consumers will be shooting in.
      (Not a surprising answer though people using Sony will always find a way to " win ")

    Subjectively I prefer the more realistic Sony photos.
    I'd also say the Sony manual photos are *objectively* better.
    The Note 10 wins Auto-mode easy.
    That said the Sony Auto-mode video was very weak. Abhorrent stabilization, the ISO correction was waAaAay too laggy.
    Again the Sony was showing some promise in the color and non-hdr-detail departments tho.
    I'd love to see what the Sony can do in pro mode.
    As for Auto video, Note wins hands down.

    En la noche el xperia 5 parece más nítido.
    En el día el xperia 5 tira para los amarillos. Pero apaga la fotografía o es como si le metiera un filtro oscuro y las sombras son muy contrastadas. Quema o sobreexpone el cielo. En fotoa y vídeos el trabajo del HDR parece errático.
    El note 10 es más balanceado en muchas ocasiones.
