Just saw JI at the Lyric in Baltimore. Couldn’t stop staring at the vacant spot typically reserved for Amanda. Gut wrenching.
Then JI goes and performs Cover Me Up and Vampires and both my wife and I stand there with a tear or 2 falling off our faces knowing that sometimes love doesn’t conquer all.
Wish I could just give Amanda a hug and let her know that we believe in her. She is a very kind soul and has always been extremely nice to fans like us. Be strong Amanda. We believe in you ❤
How can you break the most important promise you ever make in life? How can you break an oath to your god and your family and the one you share your life and soul with? I do not understand. I do not understand. 😔 😢 and what do those songs mean now? What does anything mean if it can be thrown away?

I was there, too, and agree. And yes, love doesn’t always conquer all, and none of us are inside their marriage and so cannot know what’s truly in either of their hearts.

Fantastic performance. Her voice sounds incredible here - less fragile and more sensuous.
Like everyone else, I'm really sad Amanda and Jason split up. Perhaps it's a bit 'parasocial' to be upset about the fate of famous people's relationships, but I can't help hoping they find happiness wherever that may be. The beautiful songs they wrote over the course of their various projects will live on.
