I’m a huge fan of the ribbon world scenario, so it’s great to see someone really crush it. This may be my favorite Factorio timelapse ever. Really nicely done.
I love your power pole style where you do power first and then back fill with machines. It's like a hybrid between rigid grids and full spaghetti. Looks clean but still organic.
I did something like this, but I never even came close to filling the space as well this. I would also spend hours trying to figure how to fit things, so not only was the space inefficient, so was my time.
Если бы вся основная база не влезала в один кадр, то пришлось бы двигать разрешение и мириться с чёрными полосами края мира на итоговой картинке. Ну а макароны помогают заполнять пространство. Как-нибудь обязательно сделаю лепс с большой организованной базой и целым стартовым кораблём! 😄
One of the major problems of these survive-and-escape game is that you don't care about the environment of these planets at all. You exploit everything; you burn everything; you kill everything that is on your way; ... I hope that there will be some games in future that will be more environmentalist and responsible to the native environments of these planets even though they are fictional.
I'd guess you're not very familiar with this game. You play as the aggressor, and the game doesn't let you forget that you are causing an ecological disaster. The more coal you burn and trees you cut, the more pollution you produce. The more pollution you produce, the uglier the world becomes, and the more distressed the native wildlife gets. The more natives you kill, the more aggressive they get. I'd say the message is _very_ environmentalist.
@@forresthopkinsa But at the end of the day, you will leave the planet. What do you care? What if there is a choice to just settle down on this planet? That will be a much more interesting game. LOL
@@forresthopkinsa The ultimate goal of this game is to create a rocket and leave the planet. Why would you even want to build a rocket if you want to stay on the planet forever? Just for the fun of it? LOL
@@trumplostlol3007 Again, I think you may want to play the game before criticizing it. The goal is not to leave the planet. The goal is to build the rocket to launch a satellite. The game doesn't end when you "win" though, that's just when the score is calculated. You can keep playing indefinitely on the same world.
