Ohara's "What if's" storiesare pretty great. Tbh, I was devastated because of Ace's death. I was literally crying while denying the fact that he died but then it was indeed necessary for the character development of Luffy. I think Oda did great in writing One Piece.
It definitely changed him, but then i feel like he still was rocked enough during waters 7, and post Sabaody, since it helped him be a better person, if anything the only thing Ace dying did was trigger training for 2 years, but then again wouldn’t he wanna train with the crew, or still do the Rayleigh plan after the war i feel like it could.
Tbh, I think Golden Budha vs Gear 5 would be an awesome clash. Remember that Gear 5 is technically still Sun God Nika so it would be two literal god-like beings clashing.
I think shanks and mihawks duels don’t go to that extreme, but they can if needed. I imagine their duels are kinda more like Dorry and Brogy, they clash equally until they reach a mutual point of stopping but never go full power, as shown when they kill the sea king together with their true power using Hakoku sovereignty

I’d like to believe that shanks haki can beat mihawks any day, but swordplay wise mihawk wins. That’s why mihawk doesn’t want to duel shanks with one arm, it’s an unfair duel of the swords, given that idea I don’t think they go all out when dueling. It’s different completely because id also like to reference aokiji vs akainu. They were effectively equals and rivals, their all out battle lasted days, so do you think this was the same for shanks and mihawk
I think the 2 year timeskip would still happen because either Luffy or Rayleigh would realize that the rest of the crew is way less powerful than Luffy. But i think this time Luffy would train his fruit to an even higher power level and would learn to control gear 5 even better while the straw hats train much harder to be somewhat as strong as Luffy. Rayleigh might come up with the idea of the 2 year timeskip but i could also see Luffy coming up with it since i don't think he would be blinded by his strength and think that he could protect his crew without them having to train.
Since he gave luffy his haki as well he really doesn’t need Rayleighs training, which means Zoro and Sanji would get it instead. Maybe even chopper and Brook, although be may still go on tour
part of the reason why his crewmates trained so hard was because they saw the news that luffy suffered and lost his brother so they wanted to be strong for their captains sake
I think even though Luffy's crewmate are underpowered, Some of his crew are also competitive and also Nami did ask usopp to make her a weapon to protect herself and to not be useless
Nami and Usopp are best used as long-range attacks. She is best at taking out huge groups of targets, while Usopp is the next best thing to having the Sniper King on your crew.

You praise Oda for all the time he gives to his characters, but that is one of the reasons the story rambles at time. Could Kishimoto have given some more time to his female characters? Yes, but there are things Oda can improve at as well.
small correction on the what if. if he had successfully rescued ace and went immediately to the new world to do the things he is currently doing, he wouldn't meet kin'emon and the others because 20 years hasn't passed yet.
Ace's death was a tragedy, but Jinbei helped Luffy pick the pieces back up and keep moving forward. It pushed him to stop flying by the seat of his pants and actually focus purely on training for the first time since his voyage started, while hearing about Ace's death in the newspaper made all of the Strawhats realize how much suffering their captain was going through because of how weak they all still were. Without Ace's death, Luffy would not have had the time to master his three kinds of Haki enough to have Gear 4 stable in time for Dressrosa (not to mention Luffy likely avoiding Dressrosa if Doflamingo hadn't announced Ace's Devil Fruit as the tournament prize), and he wouldn't have had enough experience with both Gear 4 and fighting Awakened Devil Fruit users to unleash Gear 5 on Kaido. Luffy simply didn't have enough battle experience or training to pull off anything close to Gear 5 by the time of Marineford. He already spent years training on Grey Terminal's island just getting used to his Devil Fruit, so if he had started his journey earlier, he would have been even less reliable in a fight, and would have likely missed the golden recruiting opportunities for many of his current crew (Zoro not being set up for a firing squad execution, Ussop not having the courage to follow his dreams without seeing the Strawhats' capabilities defending the island from a pirate invasion, Nami still being a few years away from having enough money for Arlong to have the Navy rat steal it, Chopper not being encountered if Nami wasn't terminally ill with a disease from Little Garden, Robin still being a few years away from Crocodile's "Project Utopia" coming to fruition, Franky not recognizing the determination and integrity of the Strawhat crew without Ussop or his hometown's Going Merry ship). Also, the earlier Luffy gets on the Navy's radar, the closer all of their Old Guard will be to their physical primes, meaning that they'd be even stronger. Realistically, there's no way this is possible without the kind of time travel shenanigans you only see in bad filler arcs or complex sci-fi stories.
I believe with Blackbeard, he may take the second, far scarier gamble of just grabbing ANY strong Devil Fruit (Akinu) who would have been severely beaten enough to possibly put down.

To be honest, I think if the events had played out this way during the Marineford arc, the manga would have ended much quicker, but not in a satisfying manner. If Luffy had appeared as G5 at Marineford, Imu and the Gorosei would have caught wind of it much faster than they did during the events of Wano. Remember, when they learned about G5, they reacted by sending one of the Gorosei over to Egghead to deal with it (ofc due to Vegapunk's involvement along with Luffy being there). However, this information came from a somewhat unreliable CP0 agent's report. But if Luffy had shown up as G5 at Marineford, there would have been no doubt in their minds that G5 Luffy was, in fact, Joyboy. I wouldn't even be surprised if all 5 Gorosei had immediately rushed to Marineford. Despite Luffy and his allies' strength, I believe the Gorosei would have eventually overcome them. Alternatively, if the Gorosei didn't go to Marineford, they might have chosen to bide their time and target him when he and his crew were alone. In that scenario, it would have been a lost cause because the other Straw Hats wouldn't stand a chance against them.
Really cool idea! I love these ‘what if’ situations. One thing I can’t get off my mind though, would Luffy have learned/created moves like Red Hawk and Red Roc had Ace not been killed? Cause it seems like he kinda made them in memory of/in reference to Ace. Either way though, g5 Luffy would dominate this war for sure

Sabo’s story would be different as well cuz he wouldn’t have regained his memories and also wouldn’t have gotten the flare flare fruit cuz ace is still alive, so he would probably end up dying at marie joise

There should be an Arc, Specifically for Luffy. Luffy has been there for each and every member of the StrawHats Pirates difficult time. Especially, After the time Ace died.

@@H3ndr1x Aces death was motivation and the straw that broke the camel's back for Luffy. Its what made him realize he wasn't ready for the world yet and that he needed to be stronger. He was definitely under the impression of "My crew was defeated but they're ok now I'll just meet up with them at another point and we can sail again." But Ace's death showed Luffy that he wasn't strong enough or prepared enough for the world ahead, if ace was saved then he would probably think he could handle the new world at his current level.
That’s why this is a hypothetical situation, a what if. If you want to make a quick custom scenario you’ll need to bend the plot a bit to fit the main idea. It’s not meant to be taken seriously
The biggest question that wasn't asked, is Sabo going to get his memories back? Because in the original the reason why he did was because Ace died. Would he show up? Eventually. But he wouldn't know who Ace or Luffy is and he wouldn't care. It would be an interesting meeting

You should make a video on what would happen if current luffy (somehow) was sent back in time to when he was a kid. Not only does he have his memories of the future, but he is as strong as his current day self meaning he has access to all his gears
it would be pretty cool to see a full spin off of shank's crew from the time he gave luffy the straw hat until present day. fights with Mihawk and probably many other pirates. beating any marines that dared try, lots of drinking and parties. and just their thoughts. Also learning more about their connection to the Giants. i have a lot of questions about that. that might not be put into the actual Manga. i feel as though they were waiting for luffy for a long to time. not just Shanks.
Honestly i think the biggest diference is simple, instead of focusing on killing ace the gorosei would likely order that now killing luffy is the most important thing since he awakened the nika nika fruit

I don’t know why folks imagine a gauntlet like situation in this scenario. I don’t think that’s how it goes. Luffy simply goes gear 5 and destroys the island. Jimbei jumps in water and gets Ace. Not a single fight. It is over. They go back home.
After reading egghead and Luffy vs Kizaru and Saint Saturn I think Luffy wipes the floor with Aokiji and Kizaru and Akainu can't kill Ace with Luffy present. If this happens Luffy will kill Akainu very easily.
I think it might be time to do an updated version of this considering the new information we have. 1. His Conquerors is knocking out way more people. 2. The moment he goes Gear 5, Kuma is going to recognize Nika, and once that gets revealed, at least half the Warlords are immediately switching sides. 3. Akainu, being the hothead he is, is probably not going to survive Marineford, especially if he keeps pursuing. Garp, Luffy, Whitebeard, Shanks and Ace all have more than enough reason to end him, especially if he tries to kill Koby.
it won't end up like this. two admirals would easy diffuse luffy (low-mid diff) and then the war would play as usual, with the admirals barely damaged, even if there are less placeholder men. i don't see the warlords switching sides either, besides kuma
@@gan1 I don't think barely damaged or low diff are any comments I'd make about that fight, especially since it likely wouldn't just be a 2 on 1 for very long. Even then, the biggest difference is that Luffy has Observation and Armament Haki, so he could avoid attacks, and actually hurt the Marines this time. Especially combined with the power he's capable of generating in Gear 5. If Luffy used Conquerors before or at any point during this fight, especially now that he can actually target with it, every Marine below Vice Admiral is probably dropping. Guaranteed everyone that doesn't have Admiral of some form in their rank (rear, vice, etc.) are out. This means most of the damage Whitebeard was taking doesn't happen. As for Warlords, half of them already switched in the original. Blackbeard left before the battle even started. Jinbe had already flipped beforehand in Impel Down. Boa already flipped in canon. Crocodile, who had been helping the Marines also switched sides. Nika is going to cause Kuma to flip, and that just leaves Moria, Doflamingo and Mihawk. Mihawk is literally the only threat amongst the Warlards, and the gap between Gear 2 and 5 is massive.

If Luffy were to join Marineford with Gear 5th, I really think they should simply have all of the WBP retreat other than the strongest of the strongest Impel Down escapees/commanders, and allow Luffy and Whitebeard to go all out with their attacks

Akainu lost to an Old Whitebeard, until he does more we cant really say how strong he is And the fact BB would stay while Ace, G5 Luffy and Whitebeard are there would lead to BBs death for sure
I think in this case it's pretty likely Blackbeard would lose his opportunity on Whitebeard and gain one on a far-chasing Akainu in the reversal of outcomes. A sole Akainu would likely be running desperately to kill off a freed Ace just as before. But failing to do so quickly and cleanly, he would chase further and further and become isolated from the rest of the marine forces. I think he'd be assassinated by the Blackbeard crew, who lost their original target but, found a devil fruit of equal power and vulnerability out in no-man's land; caught with enemies on all sides. Imagine the damage Akainu would build up from recklessly chasing a Yonko Luffy, it can't be small as a preface to an attack sequence that could finish off Whitebeard. No pirate would help Akainu, and no marine is close enough to do anything.
I think Luffy is going to teach and/or atleast showcase his power to the rest of the crew so that they can learn (I definitely see it with at least Zoro and Sanji, because Zoro was showcasing swordsmanship skills to Luffy in Wano, and Sanji is just, gonna learn. Luffy isn't capable of teaching, but once they learn the basics, they should be able to train themselves and discover new aspects). If that doesn't happen, I'd kinda like to see Luffy lose his whole crew (like in Sabaody) and then get a villain Arc. Like how Deku is in his vigilante Arc right now.

In the one-piece red movie (spoiler alert), Shanks and Luffy decided not to face each other, even though Luffy had gear 5, so I feel like Shanks wouldn't want to face him yet. He would probably meet up with his friends, visit the same islands, and maybe defeat the same foes. It's tricky since the time skip didn't happen. So he would probably master his devil fruit before arriving at Wano, and when he first faced Kaido, instead of Kaido one shoting him, he would get up, and use gear 5 beating him, with Momo arriving on punkhazard 2 years later, too become shogun, but the land of Wano would probably reject him, since he's a child, and they probably made a new shogun within the 2 years. Sanji wouldn't be worried about big mom killing his friends, but he would probably still go to protect his restaurant family, and Luffy would defeat big mom with 2 years of mastering his power's, unless Luffy beat her before the 2 years passed by. Honestly I feel bad for the rest of the straw hats, Zoro could probably quickly catch up, and master his haki, but Sanji wouldn't have his suit to help him catch up, and the effects of the suit wouldn't evolve him. So far Jimbe would be fine, but I'm not sure if he would join, Luffy easily beating the new gen Fishman pirates wouldn't win him over, and the proficy of Luffy destroying the island will probably make him reject the idea. I guess Carrot and Yamato would join his crew. Since Momo will not be back for 2 years, and Wano is safe, the Marines would probably stay away since Luffy defeated Kaido in their first fight, and CP0 didn't show up until 2 years later. Egghead Island wouldn't have any conflict, and Luffy would probably only have Shanks and Ace as rivals going after the one piece.
@Homer the movie being Canon or non Canon was not really explained. Both the anime and manga made hints that Shanks daughter was a part of the timeline. Also, you sound like the people saying the Sanji grooming Nami moment didn't count because the movie is not a part of the main storyline, when the characters are exactly the same, just new situations.
@Homer also how is it a theory, the straw hat's would be dead weight most of the journey, Luffy's fights would be far easier, and he would master his power more, and more as the time passes. Not to mention the Wano stuff, with Momo not appearing for 2 years.
G4 luffy(post wano) is beating any big the og admirals so gear 5 is more than enough for 1 or 2 of them. The real problem is garp and sengoku. Even 2 years later, garp was able to slam aokiji. A stronger garp would definitely be a threat, and luffy would definitely be a bit injured after a fight with an admiral and pretty fatigued from using gear 5. However, Marco could heal him. Garp would most likely refuse to fight luffy or at least heavily hold back and he would get tossed out of the way. That just leaves sengoku(akainu busy with whitebeard, kizaru busy with Marco and this time marco is winning because kizaru is injured by luffy and Kuzan dead or severely injured after his fight with luffy(this is bloodlusted luffy because he is fighting to save ace)). Sengoku is definitely going to be a problem(about equal to garp) even if he holds back a little. After a hard fight, luffy takes down sengoku and frees ace. At this point whitebeard is having some massive problems with akainu. Luffy rushes in but he is a bit injured and pretty tired so akainu is able to keep up, but with whitebeard helping him, luffy takes down akainu. They save ace and shanks shows up to a destroyed marine ford and a lot of dead marines. Blackbeard never gets whitebeards devil fruit because luffy helps whitebeards with akainu and whitebeard would be in much better condition since he would have to deal with all the guns and cannons(luffy could take out everyone below vice admiral with conquerors haki) so blackbeard either runs and wait for a Breyer chance, or tries to fight whitebeard and dies
I think that the time skip will still happen, because Kuma sent them all flying out to different area. they would need the 2 years to train and get back to sabody.

I think there would still be a time skip, most likely before wano, due to the lack of the strawhats strength, i think one if not more would die. Knowing Oda only one strawhat would die. That would still lead to the timeskip of the strawhats being late to having powerups so I think they would lose at Wano due to the strawhats only having post-time skip power.
If we are assuming that lufy gained the power of all of gear 4 + 5 + all haki without the timeskip, then its also fair to assume that other straw hats have as well.
If gear5 luffy went all out, most of the marine soldiers would get knocked out in an instant because of all the conquerors haki luffy would be using. This alone is a total game changer.

The main reason he didn't use it I think is that haki wasn't nearly truly implemented at the point certainly not advanced conquerers

Ohara's "What if's" storiesare pretty great. Tbh, I was devastated because of Ace's death. I was literally crying while denying the fact that he died but then it was indeed necessary for the character development of Luffy. I think Oda did great in writing One Piece.
It definitely changed him, but then i feel like he still was rocked enough during waters 7, and post Sabaody, since it helped him be a better person, if anything the only thing Ace dying did was trigger training for 2 years, but then again wouldn’t he wanna train with the crew, or still do the Rayleigh plan after the war i feel like it could.
Tbh, I think Golden Budha vs Gear 5 would be an awesome clash. Remember that Gear 5 is technically still Sun God Nika so it would be two literal god-like beings clashing.

I think shanks and mihawks duels don’t go to that extreme, but they can if needed. I imagine their duels are kinda more like Dorry and Brogy, they clash equally until they reach a mutual point of stopping but never go full power, as shown when they kill the sea king together with their true power using Hakoku sovereignty

I think the 2 year timeskip would still happen because either Luffy or Rayleigh would realize that the rest of the crew is way less powerful than Luffy. But i think this time Luffy would train his fruit to an even higher power level and would learn to control gear 5 even better while the straw hats train much harder to be somewhat as strong as Luffy. Rayleigh might come up with the idea of the 2 year timeskip but i could also see Luffy coming up with it since i don't think he would be blinded by his strength and think that he could protect his crew without them having to train.

Nami and Usopp are best used as long-range attacks.

I was about to say that
Ace's death was a tragedy, but Jinbei helped Luffy pick the pieces back up and keep moving forward. It pushed him to stop flying by the seat of his pants and actually focus purely on training for the first time since his voyage started, while hearing about Ace's death in the newspaper made all of the Strawhats realize how much suffering their captain was going through because of how weak they all still were.
Without Ace's death, Luffy would not have had the time to master his three kinds of Haki enough to have Gear 4 stable in time for Dressrosa (not to mention Luffy likely avoiding Dressrosa if Doflamingo hadn't announced Ace's Devil Fruit as the tournament prize), and he wouldn't have had enough experience with both Gear 4 and fighting Awakened Devil Fruit users to unleash Gear 5 on Kaido.
Luffy simply didn't have enough battle experience or training to pull off anything close to Gear 5 by the time of Marineford. He already spent years training on Grey Terminal's island just getting used to his Devil Fruit, so if he had started his journey earlier, he would have been even less reliable in a fight, and would have likely missed the golden recruiting opportunities for many of his current crew (Zoro not being set up for a firing squad execution, Ussop not having the courage to follow his dreams without seeing the Strawhats' capabilities defending the island from a pirate invasion, Nami still being a few years away from having enough money for Arlong to have the Navy rat steal it, Chopper not being encountered if Nami wasn't terminally ill with a disease from Little Garden, Robin still being a few years away from Crocodile's "Project Utopia" coming to fruition, Franky not recognizing the determination and integrity of the Strawhat crew without Ussop or his hometown's Going Merry ship). Also, the earlier Luffy gets on the Navy's radar, the closer all of their Old Guard will be to their physical primes, meaning that they'd be even stronger.
Realistically, there's no way this is possible without the kind of time travel shenanigans you only see in bad filler arcs or complex sci-fi stories.

To be honest, I think if the events had played out this way during the Marineford arc, the manga would have ended much quicker, but not in a satisfying manner. If Luffy had appeared as G5 at Marineford, Imu and the Gorosei would have caught wind of it much faster than they did during the events of Wano. Remember, when they learned about G5, they reacted by sending one of the Gorosei over to Egghead to deal with it (ofc due to Vegapunk's involvement along with Luffy being there). However, this information came from a somewhat unreliable CP0 agent's report.
But if Luffy had shown up as G5 at Marineford, there would have been no doubt in their minds that G5 Luffy was, in fact, Joyboy. I wouldn't even be surprised if all 5 Gorosei had immediately rushed to Marineford. Despite Luffy and his allies' strength, I believe the Gorosei would have eventually overcome them. Alternatively, if the Gorosei didn't go to Marineford, they might have chosen to bide their time and target him when he and his crew were alone. In that scenario, it would have been a lost cause because the other Straw Hats wouldn't stand a chance against them.

The big problem I see is that Luffy would have never gotten as strong as he is without Aces death.
Not really he might have been really mad but if ace never died he would still be at the same amount of strength maybe even stronger because he wouldn't be thinking about ace all the time and he could have helped them defeat kaido and luffy could train with him so he gets stronger

He was definitely under the impression of "My crew was defeated but they're ok now I'll just meet up with them at another point and we can sail again." But Ace's death showed Luffy that he wasn't strong enough or prepared enough for the world ahead, if ace was saved then he would probably think he could handle the new world at his current level.
That’s why this is a hypothetical situation, a what if. If you want to make a quick custom scenario you’ll need to bend the plot a bit to fit the main idea. It’s not meant to be taken seriously

Also learning more about their connection to the Giants. i have a lot of questions about that. that might not be put into the actual Manga. i feel as though they were waiting for luffy for a long to time. not just Shanks.

I think it might be time to do an updated version of this considering the new information we have.
1. His Conquerors is knocking out way more people.
2. The moment he goes Gear 5, Kuma is going to recognize Nika, and once that gets revealed, at least half the Warlords are immediately switching sides.
3. Akainu, being the hothead he is, is probably not going to survive Marineford, especially if he keeps pursuing. Garp, Luffy, Whitebeard, Shanks and Ace all have more than enough reason to end him, especially if he tries to kill Koby.
it won't end up like this. two admirals would easy diffuse luffy (low-mid diff) and then the war would play as usual, with the admirals barely damaged, even if there are less placeholder men. i don't see the warlords switching sides either, besides kuma
@@gan1 I don't think barely damaged or low diff are any comments I'd make about that fight, especially since it likely wouldn't just be a 2 on 1 for very long. Even then, the biggest difference is that Luffy has Observation and Armament Haki, so he could avoid attacks, and actually hurt the Marines this time. Especially combined with the power he's capable of generating in Gear 5.
If Luffy used Conquerors before or at any point during this fight, especially now that he can actually target with it, every Marine below Vice Admiral is probably dropping. Guaranteed everyone that doesn't have Admiral of some form in their rank (rear, vice, etc.) are out. This means most of the damage Whitebeard was taking doesn't happen.
As for Warlords, half of them already switched in the original. Blackbeard left before the battle even started. Jinbe had already flipped beforehand in Impel Down. Boa already flipped in canon. Crocodile, who had been helping the Marines also switched sides. Nika is going to cause Kuma to flip, and that just leaves Moria, Doflamingo and Mihawk. Mihawk is literally the only threat amongst the Warlards, and the gap between Gear 2 and 5 is massive.

I think in this case it's pretty likely Blackbeard would lose his opportunity on Whitebeard and gain one on a far-chasing Akainu in the reversal of outcomes. A sole Akainu would likely be running desperately to kill off a freed Ace just as before. But failing to do so quickly and cleanly, he would chase further and further and become isolated from the rest of the marine forces. I think he'd be assassinated by the Blackbeard crew, who lost their original target but, found a devil fruit of equal power and vulnerability out in no-man's land; caught with enemies on all sides. Imagine the damage Akainu would build up from recklessly chasing a Yonko Luffy, it can't be small as a preface to an attack sequence that could finish off Whitebeard. No pirate would help Akainu, and no marine is close enough to do anything.
I think Luffy is going to teach and/or atleast showcase his power to the rest of the crew so that they can learn (I definitely see it with at least Zoro and Sanji, because Zoro was showcasing swordsmanship skills to Luffy in Wano, and Sanji is just, gonna learn. Luffy isn't capable of teaching, but once they learn the basics, they should be able to train themselves and discover new aspects). If that doesn't happen, I'd kinda like to see Luffy lose his whole crew (like in Sabaody) and then get a villain Arc. Like how Deku is in his vigilante Arc right now.

In the one-piece red movie (spoiler alert), Shanks and Luffy decided not to face each other, even though Luffy had gear 5, so I feel like Shanks wouldn't want to face him yet. He would probably meet up with his friends, visit the same islands, and maybe defeat the same foes. It's tricky since the time skip didn't happen. So he would probably master his devil fruit before arriving at Wano, and when he first faced Kaido, instead of Kaido one shoting him, he would get up, and use gear 5 beating him, with Momo arriving on punkhazard 2 years later, too become shogun, but the land of Wano would probably reject him, since he's a child, and they probably made a new shogun within the 2 years.
Sanji wouldn't be worried about big mom killing his friends, but he would probably still go to protect his restaurant family, and Luffy would defeat big mom with 2 years of mastering his power's, unless Luffy beat her before the 2 years passed by. Honestly I feel bad for the rest of the straw hats, Zoro could probably quickly catch up, and master his haki, but Sanji wouldn't have his suit to help him catch up, and the effects of the suit wouldn't evolve him. So far Jimbe would be fine, but I'm not sure if he would join, Luffy easily beating the new gen Fishman pirates wouldn't win him over, and the proficy of Luffy destroying the island will probably make him reject the idea.
I guess Carrot and Yamato would join his crew. Since Momo will not be back for 2 years, and Wano is safe, the Marines would probably stay away since Luffy defeated Kaido in their first fight, and CP0 didn't show up until 2 years later. Egghead Island wouldn't have any conflict, and Luffy would probably only have Shanks and Ace as rivals going after the one piece.

@Homer the movie being Canon or non Canon was not really explained. Both the anime and manga made hints that Shanks daughter was a part of the timeline. Also, you sound like the people saying the Sanji grooming Nami moment didn't count because the movie is not a part of the main storyline, when the characters are exactly the same, just new situations.

G4 luffy(post wano) is beating any big the og admirals so gear 5 is more than enough for 1 or 2 of them. The real problem is garp and sengoku. Even 2 years later, garp was able to slam aokiji. A stronger garp would definitely be a threat, and luffy would definitely be a bit injured after a fight with an admiral and pretty fatigued from using gear 5. However, Marco could heal him. Garp would most likely refuse to fight luffy or at least heavily hold back and he would get tossed out of the way. That just leaves sengoku(akainu busy with whitebeard, kizaru busy with Marco and this time marco is winning because kizaru is injured by luffy and Kuzan dead or severely injured after his fight with luffy(this is bloodlusted luffy because he is fighting to save ace)). Sengoku is definitely going to be a problem(about equal to garp) even if he holds back a little. After a hard fight, luffy takes down sengoku and frees ace. At this point whitebeard is having some massive problems with akainu. Luffy rushes in but he is a bit injured and pretty tired so akainu is able to keep up, but with whitebeard helping him, luffy takes down akainu. They save ace and shanks shows up to a destroyed marine ford and a lot of dead marines. Blackbeard never gets whitebeards devil fruit because luffy helps whitebeards with akainu and whitebeard would be in much better condition since he would have to deal with all the guns and cannons(luffy could take out everyone below vice admiral with conquerors haki) so blackbeard either runs and wait for a Breyer chance, or tries to fight whitebeard and dies

I think that the time skip will still happen, because Kuma sent them all flying out to different area. they would need the 2 years to train and get back to sabody.

Here's what I think.
One Piece isn't actually a material kind of treasure but some kind of instruction on how to bring the world together hence making it One Piece! And It's Shanks who will go and claim that instruction or so, and bring it to Luffy because he already knew the real secret behind the Gomu Gomu DF (aka Hito Hito No Mi model Nika) and he might already know that to use the One Piece treasure one must possessed the Nika Fruit or must one be Joy Boy how did he knew about this? (Roger might have told him when they return from Laugh Tale, and hence Shanks cried, it might be because the person who will change the world isn't born yet or because he isn't a member of the D clan, and from that day onwards Shanks is doing what Roger instructed him to do. I think there would still be a time skip, most likely before wano, due to the lack of the strawhats strength, i think one if not more would die. Knowing Oda only one strawhat would die. That would still lead to the timeskip of the strawhats being late to having powerups so I think they would lose at Wano due to the strawhats only having post-time skip power.
