Hi, welcome to the family! 🥰 Thank you so much, I look forward to hearing what you think of it!
Hey Fridai, what a delicious looking cake 🔥🔥. I have a question. Instead of using water to puree your raspberries, could you use lemon 🍋? Or could you have added the lemon juice and zest to the puree while it's cooking? I know you said raspberries and lemon, but I guess what I'm thinking about is more like raspberries lemonade. Anyway, let me know what you think about that😂😂❤❤❤❤🥰
You are free to try it however you’d like! Lol I didn’t want to use too much lemon, bc I didn’t want it to overpower the raspberry flavor. I used 1 cup of water to make the purée. I definitely would NOT use 1 cup of lemon juice. That sounds extremely tart to me. Lol If you switch some things up, please come back and let me know how it turns out. 🥰
@FridaisKitchen oh no, not a cup of lemon juice 🤣😂, but 1/4 cup to puree or the zest like you said. I will let you know when I try it and how it came out.
