So I recently broke up with someone i had been dating past 5 years

I recently hurt someone I care a lot about.
I was in a relationship with a girl.
I kept finding excuses and nitpicking things to see problems where there were none.
I told her I wanted to break up, that it wasn't working.
Then I realized that I had fallen in love with her, and I was just scared of abandonment.
The whole time I felt like I was not good enough for her, and my overthinking actually made it true.
I was a coward, self-centered and uncaring of her feelings.
I pushed her away when all she ever showed me was kindness.
I wish I realized this earlier. There isn't a day when I don't regret this.
I would genuinely give up anything to go back in time to stop myself from ruining things.
But it's too late now.
She's with someone else and I let my immaturity and low self-esteem ruin the best thing that ever happened to me.
I was a coward, self-centered and uncaring of her feelings. I pushed her away when all she ever showed me was kindness.
