Always liked the 1994 Volvo 850 Estate BTCC they did, seeing it whizz round the track at classic events brings a smile to my face and ear muffs closer to my ears

I love my volvo 244, it feels like driving the most comfy tank on the planet. It does very well on rough terrain! It's got a 940 aw71 gearbox for better gas mileage and it's even more strong!

i went to a Max power night at the Ace, many moons ago. there was a kid there with what was probably his mums volvo saloon, it was completely stock but he kept putting lighter fluid up the exhaust and setting fire to it. he tried to rev it at the same time but it just put the flames out. later he hooked the rear tires over the curb and did a one wheel burn out... it was fantastically lame. i bet his mum gave him a bollocking in the morning for melting the rear bumper and ruining the tread on one tyre.
i drive a V50 T5, and i like it mostly for the noise even though its stock. best value rapid dad wagon you can get

Here in sweden we call cars like the one att 10:36 "kapade" meaning cut or sawed

Most of these in video is heavy tuned. I have a Volvo S60 t5, a little tuned, about 320 hp. step 3 optimized. lovely sound. but had really wanted an 850 t5-r one of the world's best engine sounds. 10:39 they called a-traktor in Sweden. Also have LGF in Swedish style sign on it. Means slow-moving vehicles.
Mine had a boost controller and cut springs and it was great 😂

My dad bought that 940 at 1:00 it’s his friends and he put it to standard and we bought it going to put good parts from our old 940 on it to make a very good Volvo!

had a 940 estate 2.3 turbo boost wound out etc welded diff ..made some 2aves on the birmingham scene back in 2008/9 totally underrated shame volvo ruined it by going fed
AWW NO, now i start to miss my precious 940.... never let me down on 620000 kilometres. On my way back home from work only got spanked 2 times- by audi rs6 and bmw m3.... nothing to be ashamed of i suppose...( used to live in an area where speeding on 3 very safe roads was well... tolerated to a certain point^^)
This is how 90% of all the car meets here in Sweden looks like.
