Just wanted to put the lies behind them. The lies he was trying to convince him that his mother was telling. Kevin kept running and had no relationship with his son. He is better off without that toxic man in his life.
The tears rolling down the cheeks of his son near the ending of the show shows that although he said he's going to be good regardless,his heart and emotions are saying another thing. He has been broken all those years especially having to hear his father deny him and now that he knows the truth he can now truly express his emotions and start healing . I think his father is a drug addict though, just sad!!!!

How could you not want to know your own child? I have two sons and I couldn't imagine them not being in my life. You can see the pain in the son's eyes. Really upsetting. I hope he can find someone to be a father figure to him. He may be an adult, but you never really stop growing. I hope he can find a meaningful relationship, because his dad won't give him that.
