I love this concept! But if I'm purchasing recycled trashed sneakers I then feel some type of way by paying premium prices. The recycled product should be cheaper since it's technically made from already worn shoes.
Just because the sneakers are recycled doesn't mean the material isn't still premium. They're basically making completely new materials out of the old ones by grinding them up.

This coming from the company that ruins perfectly good shoes but won’t sell them at discount and/or as refurbished. I still feel sick for returning the odyssey react which was not comfortable for me but was perfectly good and ended up in trash.
It would be better if they made their shoes repairable (and more durable) and then supplied the parts and service to repair them- THAT would be pretty revolutionary for a big company. Recycling still burns more energy and requires parts of the sneaker that are not worn out to be unnecessarily put in the energy intensive process of recycling/remanufacturing, not to mention the energy expended for the product to find its way back to a retail store.
Really love this shoe, I have a pair and I really enjoy them. My only critique is that they definitely are not ready for sport, the sole is not flexible enough for any type of exercise yet, and somewhat clunky. But I enjoy them for my everyday lifestyle sneakers, great conversation piece.
