I know we're not seeing so much of Simon lately, but hey, we'll take what we can get. It's not easy to make chess content fun and nobody does it better than the Ginger GM.
Post on youtube more Simon! Your videos are super entertaining, you're depriving the people. Give the people what they want! WE DEMAND MORE GINGER GM VIDEOS!
Really dude? Shouting? Using the imperative? Demanding? A simple thank you Simon for giving this great content for free would be more appropriate (and please don't forget to like)
@@Heroball299 I agree it was a mouse-slip, but the fact that he allowed that elementary Nf7 tactic in the first place is surprising: that's a tactic even I (a weak expert) know better than to fall into.
I was curious and looked him up. he's normally been around 2400 for 5 years, but last autum had a steep gradual dive down to 1800s. he's not old, so it's probably some kind of health problem. good for him that he still likes to play even though it must be very frustrating when a disease robs you of your ability. way back in the ICC there used to be a GM at 1600-1700s who still played every single day. don't remember what his situation was exactly, but part of it was that he was very old.
Thank you, Simon! You provide great and beautiful content, both from your chess (which is highly artistic and spiritual!) and your very humanity, which is very soothing. Cheers!
I feel like if Simon had those Chessbrah/Andrew Tang mouse skills, he'd be a lot higher rated than he currently is. Probably an absolute beast OTB to be honest.
Trainspotting was big deal in 1860's. I bet Morphy was a huge locomotive enthusiast after he quit chess. Anderson once asked, will you ever come back, and Morphy replied: "Choo choo!"
Thanks for the videos, Simon, but is there a chance that you can increase the sound a bit. I prefer watching on my laptop because of the screen size but the sound is rather low and I generally don’t have that problem with other TH-cam videos.
Regarding the player numbers, I think after they split TT into two, the latter one is just more convenient to most active players. Early one is for those who woke up early and have nothing to do.
We got a visit from Charlie, put that in your pipe and smoke it, an Oh f*** it, a Tromp, 2 Dutches, and Kramnik bashing. I was a Jobava London, Black Lion and a “Never in doubt” while winning a completely lost position on time away from the Simon Williams Bingo card full bingo!
All the other gms must think you are sandbagging. How do you maintain such a low rating when you are consistently outplaying 2900s (albeit giving some of the games away)
It's funny how much titled players hate the Exchange French. Bryan Tillis over at Palm Beach Chess also acts personally offended when people play it against him too. At a decidedly lower level, I have fun games playing black in the exchange with opposite side castling, often ending up with exciting attacking games.
The exchange French deserves the 🖕🖕, 😂😂.... Hey, Simon, I have your Grandmaster Gambits Pt. I course and thanks very much for advocating the Mulner-Barry gambit against the French 👍
Wow, Prag to win Candidates is a gutsy bet. I tend to agree the winner might very well be a surprise this time. Everything seems to be leaning towards Fabiano being the favorite and yet somehow I don't think he'll win. I can't explain why. Hunch.
Don't knock trainspotting. I had old tennis buddy years ago and him and his missus were trainspotters. Started in the 80's, videos and stuff. Now they do flybys in choppers, virtual travel dvd's etc of all the railways across the world. Undergrounds, everything. They still sell their stuff from the 80's online. Needless to say, they are multi multi millionaires with huge mansions through having an interest in trains lol.
Strange to hear you call Kramnik a nutcase when Hans literally had a full report released stating he likely cheat far more than twice and every speedrun you do you run into cheaters so often you mention how you find them all. Cheating is literally ruining chess and a huge problem. Glad you dont seem to care about the integrity of chess. I guess i cant expect integrity from an alcoholic. Unsubbed.
I love GingerGM. He makes me laugh all the time. Specially when he freaks out and says stuff like: "Agh fucking bastard!" Or "Bloody hell!"
😂
😀
Or calls Hikaru a muppet for being below him after one round 😂
Don't know why but "Bollucks" makes me laugh.
@@BillJohanson-hn7upBollocks* 😂
Ginger GM titled tuesday is the most goated and under-rated content on the internet.
Simon has such a relatable suffering.
"It's a normal mix of Legends of the game... and me" 😂😂😂
Keep posting these. I really enjoy watching you play title Tuesday.
I know we're not seeing so much of Simon lately, but hey, we'll take what we can get. It's not easy to make chess content fun and nobody does it better than the Ginger GM.
so so true
Only a few seconds in and I'm already loving it ❤😂
Watched the entire 90 minute video now. It's great.
“Short and sweet. No one calls me that” 😂

THE PEOPLE MUST BE SERVED THEIR CONTENT!
"The people" must be served their pills
Awesome man ! I can't wait to watch it
Quickly solved the mystery of why the IM is rated so low (relatively).
I've never seen a blunder that stupid in TT. It had to have been a mouse slip

Always lovely to see an upload from you
Thanks, Simon. You are the best television there is! Charlie is looking remarkably well. I once knew a 21-year-old cat, all skinny and ragged.
Very few things bring me as much joy as seeing you've posted a new video
I love the Titled Tuesdays, and nobody plays it better than Simon, with fun openings and colorful plays!
Love it Simon! Thanks
Love your videos mate. Regards from Germany
I very much enjoy watching Simon. I play the dutch defense after I read his book.
I feel like if Simon had those Chessbrah/Andrew Tang mouse skills, he'd be a lot higher rated than he currently is. Probably an absolute beast OTB to be honest.
Great content as usual thanks
What I like is Simon’s game is so fluid, he’s fearless!
Great content, subbed. Get well ginge

Simon's TT videos are the best thing about this weekly tourney 😅
1:53 best moment ever
plesae dont stop doing titled tuesday vids they are the best Simon!
Some good/dodgy games but the highlight is seeing the handsome Charlie at the end.
Love your videos Simon, a guanteed ❤ from me.
23:15 facts
I've been trying to play the Dutch recently and I can find it difficult to coordinate my rooks

liked, and have already been subscribed for years!
Masterfully done sir
Gingergm is most entertaining chess vlogger
Big kiss for Charlie

I too loathe the exchange french. Thanks for the PSA.
I don't know how you finished an IM with the Trompowsky so fast.
Charlie!!! ❤❤❤
Wow! Thank you!❤
Is anyone else getting a lot of ads?
Long live Charlie the Cat!
Thank god...this old warbler was famished
I'm actually a snakes and ladders grandmaster and found your disparaging comments about the game very offensive simon
@41:21 never in doubt
At 1:25:33 I think Black is winning on the spot after Bf3! forking the two rooks...
He almost said "Don't play the French Defense" :P
Regarding the player numbers, I think after they split TT into two, the latter one is just more convenient to most active players. Early one is for those who woke up early and have nothing to do.
Got to remember those who live in a different time zone.
Is he streaming this live somewhere? His Twitch page seems a bit empty.
@47:20 Hans vs Kramnik would be great :D

Simon you’re a very erudite and insightful speaker and very witty too. You should start a chess podcast

Hi Charley😸
All been there
Thanks!, fight until the end, learn that master!, were good games, and funny, inclusive when lose.
Game 2 starts at 10:35

Is basket weaving boring?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like the exchange French with white because French players hate it.

Learn to play chess you muppets. 😁 I sure hope Hikaro gets a laugh from that!

I have a gut feeling this is fake. Intuitions are usually correct. Something just feels off about these games. They feel staged.
