It's required for me to play the game now. Without it I found solo too predictable.
FYI, the opposite side of the dice plus together is always 7, so when you flip the 3 to 4 no need to find, you just flip it to the opposite side.
I am usually aware of that, so if I forgot during the video, blame it on filming and narrating ;)

This looks like a fun game, especially multiplayer where more strategy seems to be in play. Expensive game though for what it is though
Yeah, since I think you really need the monsters expansion to get the full experience, it’s kinda pricey.

I keep on having an internal debate on if I should get this game or not (base game only that is) ... and with your review I don't think I will, it has confirmed my doubts on it solo!
But like you I love that the character can be used in RP Adventures... they should also allow you to use the map you make on Cartographers in it also! :D

Another excellent video and review. Totally sold me on this one, went and bought it and both expansions. The Monsters one definitely seems like a necessity in particular, the game looks like it would sorta only be half there without it. That's one of the more annoying parts of this hobby, sometimes a game just seems very incomplete without the expansions, so that's more buying to do. And more hoping that you can actually manage to find a copy of whatever it is.
Totally agree, at least for solo, that I'm never playing base game alone again. Need M&M to complete the experience.
13:06 it REALLY bothers me that there is a spelling mistake on the Giant Rat card and this went into print with it being there lol. They spelled "each" as "eatch" and that absolutely kills me.
It’s hard to unsee those kinds of mistakes for sure
I did the exact same, on my first playthrough with the expansion I focusing far too much on the Monster fight. Although had lots of fun collecting all the trophies

I played this last night... and messed up the setup.. I used 4 initiative boards and not 3... the rules should just of stated --use 3 boards or something like that instead of saying "setup like the base game but reveal 4 cards instead of 3." they have all of this space in the rule book yet they don't actually put the rules you need clearly... but watched your playthrough like 3 times anyways to see if I missed anything else... have you played this again or plan to play it again soon?
I sent my copy to someone else. It was pretty enjoyable, but felt a bit too euro-ish to me over time (which is a good thing for most people, but not as much for me)
@@OneStopCoopShop yeah I can see after you make about 4-5 character it might get to be to "samey".... but I am interested to see how they are going to use the characters you make into the new adventure game... I watched your playthrough of that your used a pre-generated character... thanks....

Why do u get 1 more exp ?
If you have already revealed all of the boss monster's cards, you instead get 1 XP whenever you would have revealed one.
