Unbelievable 6 knts session on the Flysurfer Sonic 2 18m (short version)

Thought I could not go out on this holiday weekend , wind was saying about 5 to 7 knts. Had a nice little session on the sonic 2 18m. I'm thinking its possible to start on this kite in 6 knts with a big twintip.

What's your weight and what size board where you using?

About 184lbs and I use a 138 x42 board.

Do you think a 200lb person would be over powered in 15 mph winds with a 18m Sonic 2?

lehula no not at all. The kite has good depower. 8 to 15knts is the sweetspot. Which is about 9 to 17mph.

lehula on a raceboard I do 45km/h in 8-10knots with the sonic2 18

Дуло явно больше. Летом при 3мс 18ти метровая сопля стабильно не висит. Приходится гонять по окну. На видео он уверенно летает .
