I swear to god, Gelbin is an absolute chad. The man got hit by a rocket, and even though his body is small he managed to get out of ship's shivers, being stunned after the explosion. Not only that, but he was able to find some power in his tiny arms to get the detonator up! A true hero of the Gnomish race! For Gnomeregan, For the Alliance!
Being a animated character also helped i guess.
1:22 Spymaster Shaw dragging an injured crewman out of the fire (to the left of jaina's purple shield). He may not be a shield summoning mage, and his job may be to spy and assassinate, but he's still an officer of the Alliance... and right then and there -- he's doing what he can for his comrades in arms.
Got up from a blast like that, rushed to the detonator that's about the size he is and lifted it, saved the alliance fleet, and still had the strength left to be a goddamn raid boss afterwards.
Respect.

I'll admit, when those ships go boom, it was double middle fingers to the Horde. I spent a lot of time setting those bombs!
I love how genuine Jaina is. She truly cares for her people and allies. As soon as Mekkatorque got hurt she was visibly upset, a true leader.
At this count, one can also say that mekkatorque rather than worry about of are physical state, He only worry about others and surpasses itself to activate the buzzer.

She joined the battle for the broken shore and afterwards it was revealed she hunted demons on her own.

Always love to see gnomes in a cinematic especially mekkatorque. Especially loved the attention they gave him in the Broken Shore one way back.

So no one is gonna question the fact that in what I assume is like a month, not one person noticed bombs on the ships. Like do Zanadarlaris not do maintenance?
as someone who has worked on a ship during my childhood with my father as 2nd in charge next to captain i can confirm. Ship maintanence is not a monthly thing nor half a year thing.
Sir Buljo implying a warship is the same as a civilian vessel. There are inspections daily on most if not all Navy ships.

Yeah, but the bigger question is how did they get the bombs on the ship at the Zandalari docks which im sure is full of fishermen and patrol and under watch. So like, did no one notice a bunch of gnomes setting up bombs on the ships in the night? Like wut?

Gnomes can blow up multiple ships but can't take their city back from level 20 monsters. Okay!
Gnomeregan was retaken in cataclysm, the next years they've been cleaning it from radiation and the remaining troggs and lepper gnomes

See as a Horde player this is what I don't' get. Throughout the BfA experience on Horde we're told how vastly superior the Zandalari fleet is., and Mekatorque blows it all to shit with one button, and Horde aren't told why.
If Rastakahn sneezed, and erased Jaina from existance, I'm pretty sure Alliance players would want to know how that is possible.
If you play alliance war campaign, you know the alliance have been rigging bomb in your ship for month
Fleet was truly superior. Alliance just cheated them out. They just couldn't win the sea fight vs them. And that's only justifies Sylvanas' counter-cheats. The wars aren't fair anyways, you know? That's why Alliance and Horde are both bad guys now in my opinion. Just imagine how many people were killed by (at least) that explosion. Like thousands of them. And why? Because one faction wants them to die because another one helped them? WTF? And how many people already died from both sides during this war? I feel like Blizzards is fooling us, just like they showed us how actually stupid were we to attack Illidan in BT.
The Alliance snuck into Zuldazar and rigged the ships before hand. The Zandalari fleet may have been stronger but they weren’t as prepared, not even close.
As already stated, play the Alliance war campaign. Multiple quests have you rigging the ships with explosives.
It's another part of the story telling. If you don't play both sides, you won't know what happened. You'll be just as caught offguard as the actual characters.

The Zandalar are used to dealing with magic, not technology. They wouldn’t have procedures to check for stuff like that.
So, I'll ask a question for those that know more about the lore than me, I'm just beginner here, but for what I saw...
Putting bombs on the enemy fleet, and blow them when your own fleet approaches, it's a nice strategy. So, the enemy fleet has been severly damaged, what do we do? Well, FULL SPEED AHEAD, CHARGE, FOR THE ALLIANCE!!!
It's the same thing in Lordareon. Every single horde leader is inside. You have a massive army to siege it, what do we do? Well, CHARGE, FOR THE ALLIANCE!!!
Now, Sylvanas is surrounded, but she throws the blight or whatever the green poison is called, and their enemies leaders are trapped inside the city, what's the strategy? Well, CHARGE, FOR THE HORDE!!!
Tyrande and Malfurion lead the charge after summoning an ancient, very powerfull power, and what do we do? Well, CHARGE, FOR ELLUNE!!!
And Nathanos has the enemy charging, he's troops are less and not organised, as they are caught by surprise, what we shall do? Well, CHARGE, FOR THE HORDE!!!
Is there any general in the Warcraft universe that does know about any other military maneuver but CHARGE AT FRONT AND KILL EVERYTHING!!!. Of course they always suffer heavy losses.
They don't lean heavily on showing actual strategy in something like a cinematic. They want it epic and showy, not having to make you use your brain by thinking about tactics. But quests will put you on military-esque missions every now and then.
But no, Game of Thrones this ain't. The citizens of Azeroth are, sadly, lemmings charging to their doom.

After the fight with Mekkatorque he seems to be in a sort of coma. They talk about it in the meeting back in Kul Tiras. This will most likely be a tie in for 8.2 with Mechagon or something.

how strange that i feel nostalgia for such weird expansion. but still it had the best story cutscenes like Jainas and Saurgang. And that desire to understand Sylvanas motivation but that was delivered just in next expansion and not so good. But still BFA had a cool story

They'll never end HvA in WoW. Too ingrained in this game specifically, just as WC1 could never be more than Orcs vs Humans, same mostly for WC2, or the multifaction nature of WC3. But they may change the nature of it. War Mode and instanced PvP could be something of different rules for players, whatever. For all we know, the buildup of actually including some (minor?) story decisions in this expansion could lead into choosing your 'faction' for later/new high level standard, thus altering the storyline in high level from Humans (+associates) vs Orcs (+associates) with grudges, into more two broad HvA sides scrambling for resources on Azeroth/the cosmos for different reasons/methods.

She attacked first wiping out the elves and thier home. The alliance struck back at Lorderon which could be classified as a draw. Then the war campaign happen bringing us to now. Jaina now leads a naval assault bc of new all is and it's biased....
