They'd also most likely mess up the tone of the comics whenever a serious moment happened (even if the humor and stuff is already somewhat manga-esque, mostly to pay homage to the fact that Mega Man is from there, but they don't do weird nonsense).
When I ripped the disc and put it on my MP3 player, I eventually manually fused both parts into a single track with Audactiy because I tend to set my music player to shuffle. It felt like such a troll when it would play the first part, then suddenly switch songs right when it was getting to the best part! X^D

The Legacy Packs are good way to start, i only just this past year first played any megaman game and so I don't have a nostalgia blinding me, and they were some good games. The NES games are good, everyone swears by 2, but I think 4 is the best. But MM1 like cold stel said there, isn't the best place to start, I'd recommend at least playing 2,3 , or 4 first. If you want physical copies, you'll be better off buying the japanese versions as they are a little cheaper for the NES/FC games. And the X series on SNES and SFC, the japanese version is MUCH cheaper, 2 and 3 both going upwards of 100-200 USD$, where as the japanese ones are all around 20 USD$ each.

I knew once the 'Sparked a War' single released a couple years ago, I knew that the Megas' next album would be worth the wait. Two days ago, that wait more than paid off. This (as well as History Repeating, pt. 1) was a hell of an opening for a fantastic album; the guys have grown lyrically, musically, thematically (this one's definitely darker than 'Get Equipped') and the addition of the keyboardist (I'm forgetting his name currently) gave it more of an 8-bit touch!
I've been dealing with tons of stress the past few months. One thing flipped a switch and I couldn't handle anymore. Along with others, I threw this album on my MP3 player and ran. I don't know how far or how long but these songs had a certain thing to them that kept me going and motivated. Pushed me through the pains in my body and mind. Thanks for the wonderful album. ASR Plus you take it to Japan, Roll and Quake Woman, possibly also Honey Woman if they go long enough, would likely all be used for fan service.

In all honesty, at first, I hated this album.
It grew on me. Fast.

Is the singer in this song supposed to be Protoman? Because the line "Prototype Man of MegaMan" seems a bit out of place if it was not him.
It's about both of them. it's about the fight between them. The "Hi Rock" verse is said by Protoman, while the rest (except "He's the prototype man of Megaman", which is by townspeople) is by Megaman.
Furthermore, why would Rock say hi to himself and challenge himself to a fight ("It's time to throw down, show me what you got")?
With due respect, I thought your MAGFest set was much more intense.
Loving the album though.
