i noticed how my interpretration is different from theothers but here's mine. The boy is suffering from depression or resentment in society's eyes. He met a girl who is living a life he wishes for but thinks it's impossible for him to have/reach. The goat served as a trigger for him to lose himself. The mask the goat gave symbolized how he became someone who is different, how he changed. He destroyed the girl's life and expected her to follow the road he chose but surprisingly the girl didn't and still regained herself, she didn't change. The boy then regreted his choice of becoming someone he never thought he'd be. When the goat tried to get the girl, he stopped it and saved her. He removed his mask as well. For me this event symbolizes how the boy accepted everything he was, even how his flower was outshined or was unaccepted by the society. When the girl reached for the boy's hand, my iterpretation of this was, she was scared of the boy but knew that people could change and accepted him. When the boy was accepted by someone, he finally found what he was looking for so a better flower started to grow. I really can't put my interpretaion to words properly...
Here's how I saw the video. The flowers are suppose to represent their heart or emotions. The ram spirit is probably supposed to represent violence itself. When the ram destroyed the man's flowers he ruined his emotions, like bullying. Hurting you in your deepest emotions. When the ram gave the man the rabbit mask it's like he made him give in to violence as well, causing the man to beat up the woman and ruin her flower. However, the woman didn't give in to violence and managed to regenerate the flower since her emotions were strong. Violence appears everywhere, and you can either be violent and have nothing but regret, or being strong by refusing to let others destroy your feelings.
I saw it in a similar way, but instead of heart/emotions, I saw it as dreams. Others (represented by the ram) will try to take and destroy your dream, making you jealous of others who still hold onto their dreams. When you give up on your dreams, you feel that there is no hope. When the man tried to destroy the woman's dreams, she didn't give up. This inspired the man and let him regain his dreams and go against those that would want to destroy it.
-the city is black and everything looks the same, his blue flower was small and almost wilted, he was different, but a least he had something. but he was ashamed of it while the other girl\boy's was proud of it and she\he had a big yellow flower. -then comes the shinigami, which takes his flower, It's a metaphor for when people lose their "flower" or lose one's self, their voice or opinion and because of that, they go after others believing they have no other choice but to be like that, voice-less, and use violence. -his flower is small because it symbolizes his unsatisfation\deprssion. in his state, it was a lot easier to give up, and wear the mask, when he wears the mask he is nothing but someone who follows others' selfishness and apathy. while the other girl didn't let herself do that, even though her flower was taken away she didn't go with the flow. it showed the boy an example of one's being his true self and not go after others, that's why he pushed the shinigami (which represents society). -and that's when his true self returned, and the flower was bigger than before, he was proud of it now. that he is different, And he did not give in to social pressure ~~~ and huh without context, I love your videos they are beautiful! ~~~
I might be wrong but I feel like this represents the cycle of abuse. victims of violent, sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse will sometimes find themselves abused again and again after the initial experience, which is known as revictimization. The boy had already gone through some form of abuse and was ashamed or afraid to show or express his pain to anyone, such as the girl with the red vibrant flower who hadn't faced any abusive trauma but looked willing to talk to him or even help him. By refusing her reach out to him and refusing to confront his pain, his repressed feelings manifested into resentment and anger toward those who had never undergone what he had been through and led him to 1. Become abused again by the goat figure, which 2. Caused him to cope with the pain committed by the goat by becoming a perpetrator of abuse himself. His feelings of anger and resentment lead him to seek out the girl in what looks like a deflowering scene.. (I may be reading to far into this part) in hopes of seeing her fall the way he did. But she doesn't. She refused to continue the cycle of abuse by becoming an abuser and recovers differently than the boy by transforming the feelings of sadness and emotional pain into feelings of forgiveness and compassion and learning to love again through self healing. The abuser is inspired by her strength and decides to face his own pain and destroy his cycle of abuse by facing and destroying the goat. Im going to apologize in advance because I feel like this may come off as just wrong to some.. forgive me, its 4 AM and I can't sleep and I know this wasn't very well written. It's just I'm usually the one who never understands works with deeper meanings and has to look to the comment section or interpretations to figure things out, but personal experiences I have undergone kept popping up in my head while watching this and made me feel extremely inclined to post my thoughts.
i think the flower represented someone close, when the ram (or death) took that person away from him, he was hurt and decided that others should hurt too, but when he killed the girls flower, she was strong enough to find life in it again. The boy then felt anguish at not realizing that earlier hence he saved her from losing her flower again. By doing that he found a new flower for himself.(the girls life)
Love is fragile but if you are strong you can weather a heart break and come out strong again. Some people buckle and become the abusers, but all of us can learn to overcome.
Your second film actually improved. I can see the big difference. Keep up the good work! I really like your artwork and the moral behind the storys:) I'm not one to judge it badly because I know it must take up so much time and effort to make them look and move as perfectly as it should be. Looking forward to seeing more films please.
when you think about it the girls flower is still healthy and lively because she finds happiness even in the darkest places and when she showed the boy happiness a new flower started to bud.
If no one perpetuates the cycle of violence then it will end. People don't have to become weak, bitter, or shriveled from loss. All loss is an illusion, unless you let it change you. Nothing is ever truly lost, but hidden under layers of anger, resentment, violence, and sin. You can become good again; it's never too late. You can be pure and innocent and believe in doing the right thing. People have a choice. When bad things happen to you, you decide how and if it changes you. In this world there are no real rules. Literally any injustice can happen to you. It's terrifying to realize that. The only thing keeping you afloat is your own moral compass. Don't sacrifice it for anything!
I see the flowers as there hearts and the rams or goats as people who take them as nothing and break there heart , the man sees the woman who has hopes and has a unbroken heart and he fells bad because his heart has been broken and he dosnt want it to happen again , but it dose which is where the ram comes in , he takes the flower and smashes it which is the heart breaking . The girl goes around and also gets her heart broken but shes strong and fixes it , she sees the man with the broken heart snd uses her love to fox it! Thats my opinion! !
The obvious theory would be that the lamb is death (as usually Satan is depicted as a ram in some cultures and also the lamb is the symbol of sacrifice) and the flower a heart/life, but after he defeated the figured I thought it may have represented something like depression or some bad habit they cannot rid themselves (getting into bad ways). The flower represents hope or happiness and when it is taken away the guy is given a mask to put on; this represents lack of identity/emptiness - which many could link with depression. How he has to accept he will forever be this way - therefore he loses his hope, his last bit of feeling/happiness. He goes around trying to ruin annoy others chance of happiness/hope/feeling or even the chance of getting better, however this girl believes she can get better, and is not scared of this problem/illness, and can face it front on. In the end she could help him, and share the hope with him, allowing him to get better (grow another flower)...
(( Okay, so I could be wrong, but this is how I see it. Apparently, the guy was having an inner problem with himself. Myabe soemthing going on in his love life, home, something along those lines. Anyway, instead of showing his inner angst, he tried to avoid it, even hide it (He hides the blue flower from the girl in the beginning). Soon though, something happens in which it takes the turn for the worst, being the antagonist ram headed figure, and finally he breaks, and puts himself on a strict route of hatred. He has no hope (no flower), so he gives up, and deicdes to let other people feel the way he does. However, that doesnt go according to plan. The girl, instead of breaking and accepting the world as dreadful place, gives herself hope once more, and in turn, gives the guy hope in seeing someone go through the same thing as himself. Thus, putting a stop to his inner hatred, or dark figure, and he fights back. ))

I am learning English, so please excuse me and correct me. Is a beautiful story. This is from 2006.That's why animation looks old but the symbolisms and artistic approach in animation's plot flow is actually very beautiful.

+TheExoticVIP Its fine. I like your interpretation actually. It helps me to understand this video better.
TheExoticVIP 👍👍👍👍
hmmm when you mentioned this goat going after "her" I was like sounds like a rapist to me but nice interpretation
my interpretation is they have no eyebrows

Sasukegal18 That also is a awesome way to look at it :-)
i think i get it the ram is trying to spread a new generation of violence but the girl refuses to give in

心を花で表現するのは初めて見た
-the city is black and everything looks the same,
his blue flower was small and almost wilted, he was different, but a least he had something.
but he was ashamed of it while the other girl\boy's was proud of it and she\he had a big yellow flower.
-then comes the shinigami, which takes his flower,
It's a metaphor for when people lose their "flower" or lose one's self,
their voice or opinion and because of that, they go after others
believing they have no other choice but to be like that, voice-less, and use violence.
-his flower is small because it symbolizes his unsatisfation\deprssion.
in his state, it was a lot easier to give up, and wear the mask,
when he wears the mask he is nothing but someone who follows others' selfishness and apathy.
while the other girl didn't let herself do that, even though her flower was taken away she didn't go with the flow. it showed the boy an example of one's being his true self and not go after others,
that's why he pushed the shinigami (which represents society).
-and that's when his true self returned, and the flower was bigger than before,
he was proud of it now. that he is different, And he did not give in to social pressure
~~~ and huh without context, I love your videos they are beautiful! ~~~
In here video there 3 things to say:
1.- Awesome piece of art
2.- Greeat Imagination
3.- Beatiful thought
Award winning, even without the touch up in animation and graphics, it's message that it's trying to send is more than enough!
You make such hauntingly beautiful films that I can't just scroll past. Amazing, everyone of them! ^^
