Woodstove tip: partly close the door to create the upward draft and it will start all your kindling, build up a very hot bed of coals, put in larger pieces and then use the dampers to pretty much let it slow burn. My entire house is heated by an 80s woodstove. Takes about 5 minutes to get a ripping hot with the right stuff. Enjoying your videos

This looked like so much fun to me. I used to camp a lot when I was younger, but we never had heat. The camaraderie is the most enjoyable part of the whole thing.

Stove looks a bit small vs. square foot of tent. Medium sized one would be better. Pack a long small diameter metal or plastic tube/straw with your stove for blowing on the fire. Better wedge angle on your axe for splitting. Maybe a small block of wood base for chopping your wood so you don't cut the bottom of your tent. I was cringing every time you were splitting. LOL "flairs eating tortillas" LOL. You brought tortillas anyways and laughed so hard. This is by far the best boldest TH-cam videos ever made I loved it. You ruffed it with barely any supplies. No cheating and eating squirrels. This was great 👍. I want to see more of this in different weather especially on a cold rainy day. Cheat tip start your axe use a log to hit the top of your axe for splitting or just hit harder.
This has to be the best series yet on this channel can’t wait for episode 2

Squirrel hunting - Go into the woods and sit down for 20 minutes. The squirrels have a very short memory. Once you sit down, being sort of quiet, they will start to move around after 15 minutes - guaranteed! I grew up hunting and eating squirrels. Love them!! Good luck!

shoutout to all the people behind the scenes doin editing and things. flair is the only youtuber i know if that can post 40-1 hour long videos every day every other day whatever it may be and it’s not like it’s one camera they’re editing it’s multiple cameras and things as well shout-out to them if you watched youtube long enough you’ll know how hard this is.

Opening day I'm up by 4am,1hr ride on 4wheeler to the stand, min.of 1hr pre light in stand and if nothing moves by 11am I'm back at the 4wheeler for lunch and nap and back in the stand by 2!! Great memories in three lakes Florida!!!

Pro tip! Take an old antenna from a old radio an cut off the ends so you have a calpsable straw to use for fire starting. You blow through the antenna and can pinpoint where you want the air flow to go.

These are my favorite flair videos, the survival vids is where it at.
Hey man, not sure if anyone already said it but a trick for splitting logs with a hatchet is called "batoning" you set your hatchet on top and tap it through with another log so you dont swing with your hand down stream of the hatchet. If you brace it on another log or hard spot on the ground it works really efficiently. Love the content.

Heat up your chimney first. It was warmer in the tent then outside so would not draw

Pro tip! When in a survival situation, stew all your meat, fried taste better but your meal will go further because you can drink the broth, plus you get bone broth and leftovers are way easier to reheat in the morning, or you can just leave it close to the fire and it won't burn or go bad.
Jake is one of the best things to ever happen to this channel. I know for a while there is was a camera man after camera man. But it was all worth to have Jake!!!
