Ogres are often pretty fun to look at, and paint, they have a certain funny dumb look to them. And you get to paint a bigger model but still stay in the 28mm-32mm scale. But my favorite type of ogre will always be the humble cook, they entertain me so much for some reason.
But speaking of the beast around the ogre, you said it looked like something that lives in a snowy environment. As someone from a snowy environment, Sweden, it is rare for our animals to have white or whiteish fur. Many of them are some sort of brown. Then we have some, like the arctic fox, changes to a browinsh grey in summer and to white in winter (or in some rare cases a sandy yellow) and the lynx goes from yellow-red to a brighter and more grey depending on the season. There is a lot of freedom when it comes to fur for animals from snowy places :)

Looks great! The Kroxigor Scale contrast is a lovely colour. And you were right about the stabilizers on bolts/arrows - those are fletches.

I feel like never underestimate the use of the dry brush would make a great shirt lol, this was definitely an interesting paint scheme with how ogers are depicted I feel like even the "ugly phase" was still a good place because it could go two different directions like a colder region or a warmer region like you had it
Great video as always Andy :)

Thanks so much man! Haha I’ll make a note of that for future merch ideas!! Yeah I feel like we’ve seen a lot of snowy ogors, some of them must like the sun!

Excellent job as always! I recently started to get interested in Age of Sigmar, but I'm not sure what army I'd want to go with yet

Some of the underworlds gangs are a great way to test out if you enjoy the army aesthetics and play style! It’s important to find something you will enjoy painting, as you’ll probably end up painting a lot of the same thing for infantry models depending on the army! Look at things like model count as well as play style. If you have any specific questions let me know, I have every age of Sigmar army in my collection 😄

Is there any possibility of you painting some Beastclaw Raiders in the future? I'm planning on picking some up, and I'm a bit unsure about the painting side. 🤔

@Mediocre Hobbies That's brilliant news, your videos have been a huge help when it comes to tackling more complex paint schemes. 👍

@@MediocreHobbies love the models and your painting is very nice. I’d love to start an ogre army but I don’t play sigmar. I enjoyed the video anyways.

Is it just me or is the size of this model completely off from the rest the army? his head is about 1/4 the size of the rest of the ogors that I have and the back of the box that says 1:1 ratio is allot bigger then the model itself.. as if though they made it for A 50mm base but then shrunk the whole thing down to a 40mm after it was sculpted

I hadn’t thought about it. His head seamed about rite to me and I’ve painted a lot of ogers.
