I'm gratified to see Fr. Hollowell looking fit and healthy. We appreciate your intention and sacrifice. I would remain away from the Church until entering RCIA in 2008 and becoming a Catholic at Easter Vigil Mass in 2009 at the age of fifty seven.. I was fortunate to only experience a predation moment, verbal abuse, and a public humiliation (during change of classes at a Catholic high school.) I remain a Catholic but the Church's silence continues to be troubling. It's only a coincidence that I came across this talk and as it happens my birthday is February 17th. You have been courageous as a priest and in your suffering. I thank our gracious Lord for your healing.

I've been praying for him ever since he said he was withdrawing from TH-cam for a number of reasons including his ongoing health issues. Now I hear he has 4 parishes in his care. God bless him and send both more Catholics and good priests.

Forwarding to all, but especially non-Catholics, who don't understand. Most of the world think if you're suffering, then God has somehow "cursed" you. This was exactly what was said to Job, that he must have offended God. And yet, sometimes God does send abundant and undeserved blessings. So it is a big mystery - abundance can be a blessing, and suffering can be a blessing. And again, it was Job who expressed that.

Thanks be to God! And thanksgiving to Our Lady of Lourdes! I remember praying for Father when I saw a video of him while he was terribly sick in the hospital. I didn’t know of his cure! Praise God and His blessings on all those for whom Father has offered his suffering in holy virtue.
