    I have this build I would like to see you try. I've been mixing it in for a couple years on the ladder in TvT at M1 level. Basically, it's a Thor drop rush from your base with SCV and marine support. You get to hit them with a Thor, 3 SCVs set to auto-repair, and 5 marines. You can follow up building more and more thor drops.
    Here's the build order:
    Depot, Gas, Barracks, Gas.
    Marine(start building them without an add-on until you get 5)
    Factory
    Starport, Armory, Depot, Tech lab on the Factory
    Medivac, Depot, Thor, Medivac.
    Once the Thor pops out, switch the mode and fly across the map.
    Also, once you order your second medivac, you can get a natural.
    Continue building Thors and drops.
    Some tips on execution:
    I like to wall off jumping spots to make reaper defense easier with the 5 marines.
    Make sure to start your depots in time because it's super easy to think "I still have 5 supply left, so it's okay", but when it's time to build the Thor, you'll get supply blocked and your second medivac will be delayed and your life will be very sad.
    Use the armory behind the minerals to create a block to force reapers to walk into the mineral line if they do get in.
    Use the first medivac to instantly scout for a proxy starport. You can afford to use boost once.
    Drop your units from behind the natural. In most games, I do get scouted to an extent and people expect a drop to hit straight through the middle.
    This also works surprisingly well in TvP if the protoss goes for Starport. Otherwise, it achieves almost nothing.
    If you want to try it in TvZ, you bring 1 marine and 2 hellions instead of 5 marines. Drop them in a mineral choke in the natural and transform to hellbats. That's the only time it semi-works against zerg. The standard 5 marine + Thor dies to a flock of lings super easily.

      @Chris Swanson good luck! A friendly warning, this might go south very quickly the first couple of times you do it, but once you get the hang of proper execution and learn what fights you can and cannot take, you can get some easy and fun dubs for yourself.

    I'm a simple terran, I see Battlecruisers, I upvote.
    Raven's Anti Armor is disgustingly OP with the BC's high attack rate gun.

    Build ideas:
    1 - The ultimate death ball - Make a 199/200 army, with 1 scv left.
    2 - The ' I see all ' Build - Make widow mines as vision all over the map, with the goal of having as much vision as possible. Sensor towers and Depot placements around the map can also be used for vision. The goal is to completely cover your minimap.
    3 - Sim City Expert- Focus of the game is to use building placement as effectively as possible for Walling off the natural, the third and the fourth as well as your main (i.e. also making it difficult for your opponent to do as little damage in your main too from a drop).
    4 - Only Full NA mode - You are only allowed to win by doing a massive risky yolo doom drop, or forcing base trades.
    5 - ' I'm a beginner ' challenge - You can only make units from production by clicking on the buildings first including the Command center for scvs. When you attack, you are only allowed to F2.
    6 - ' My marines are slackers that need to be fired ' build - Make a standard Bio Tank/Mine army but always leave the marines (at least 20) in the main (because they're slackers and lazy for this particular game). Marauders and reapers from the Rax are allowed to leave the main and be part of the army. Only the marines are just chilling at home.

    I have a crazy build here. You play macro you get ~20 speed Banshee's (around 60ish supply) as a strike force to harass and deny bases and tech, They 3 shot Hacheries, 4 Shot Nexuses and 1 shot any static defence. You avoid primary engagements and you use the Banshee mobility and play like a Zerg somewhat. For your defence, you go Maru-style defence and just build mass planetary turret, tanks, widow mines, Vikings and transition into Ghost/Liberator/Thor for late game, which will be enabled by the 50 SCV economy caused by the Iron Bank. The goal of this build if it ever comes to a base trade this build will literally just win you the game.
    Some fun thresholds for 0 attack upgrade banshees: It takes 8 Banshees to 1 shot a queen, It takes 8 Banshees to 1 shot a stalker, it takes 10 Banshees to 2 shot a spine crawler, It takes 23 Banshees to 3 shot a Hatcher, It takes 23 Banshees to 4 shot a Nexus, 23 Banshees 2 shot any Zerg Tech Building in the game, 23 Banshees 2 shot any Protoss Building except Cybernetics Core and Stargate which take 3 shots.
    For 3 attack upgrade Banshees, it take 18 Banshees to 3 shot Hatcheries and the rest of what I said above.
    The biggest weaknesses of this build are Mutas and Phoenix play because they are faster, but luckily the Banshees are faster than the detection of the respective race so you can cloak and just outrun the detection hopefully or maybe have a small contingency of anti-air units to kill the enemy detection when they come which will then be sacrificed to keep the Banshees alive.
    I would presume uThermal could beat Master players with this build but I'm not too sure.

    Here is a build for you to try: planetary fortress contain rush. It's like a planetary fortress rush but just outside their base where you can use it to cover harassment of their natural

    I have been thinking for awhile that you need to revise your rules, and after game 1 it just solidifies that a small change is in order.
    Rather than only being able to MAKE 5 marines, you are allowed to INITIALLY make 5 marines BUT you are allowed to replace them so long as you never have more than will fit in a bunker.

      Was gonna propose something similar. More specifically, it’s tedious to see losses to strong, early Protoss builds that win because Thermy’s forbidden from making more marines. That’s not why we watch Sky Terran series.

    I'm really liking this Sky Terran series; we get to see mass banshee and mass BC, which doesn't get enough love in normal games. Also, on the challenge rules, personally I wouldn't mind if you made whatever you needed to so you could hold against being cheesed, even if it's not within the normal parameters of the challenge, as long as it would be strictly defensive.

    Not for the 1v1 episode, but maybe for a team game episode. I and my friends used to do a "build", on the team league ladder, where the end goal was to land a "Stasis-Nuke", i.e. the opponent/s walks into a big stasis trap which then lines up with a nuke. I believe you launched the nuke ~1-2 sec after the stasis trap. It was always great fun when it worked out. ^^,

    I don't know what this challenge would be called, but you should do a challenge where you build up an army using every single Terran unit in the game. Maybe this could be a series, or a game in maybe low Master or Diamond

    Here is a P killer build:
    - Rax-gas into 3 rax (2 proxy)
    - Cut scv at 17 pop.
    - 2 first rax reactor, 3rd tech lab + concussive shell.
    - Pump Marauders-Marines. Go 2.40
    I regularly get P masters with that.
    Tips:
    - remove 1scv from gas once concussive shell research starts.
    - 2 reactors is mandatory for fast voids or probes surround.
    - Concussive mandatory for batteries and probes surround
    - don't send marines from main until they are 4.

    I think it would be pretty cool if you did some version of a PF rush along with building all your structures and expos on the opponents side of the map. I think you could manage it against a diamond player. Maybe low masters.

    Here's a few ideas:
    1: PF rush (i know alot of people have suggested this but its fun!) can probably give this a try on diamond
    2: Tank/Libs only, The Ultimate Turtle Terran, essentially taking your 1v7 AI build into a 1v1 game where you mass up on only siege units and static defenses! (you would be allowed to attack as i feel it might get too boring otherwise) diamond seems like a good starting point for this but you can probably take it higher.
    3: Max of 2 units of each unit type, Play like an AI! try to build exactly 2 of each unit type, clearly the best strategy if the AI do it! ..since reaper opener is available this should probably be done in high masters or even gm as i feel your skills can finish games with a single reaper at diamond and lower.
    4: Marine/Reaper/Marauder, but oh no! all the medivacs went missing! this one would definitely be for gm levels, the opening builds are largely untouched but would love to see how terrible bio is without their precious healing or factory units to support them.
    5: Expand to the entire map before building a unit. Definitely going to need to be low ranked for this, plat? maybe even gold, just take the entire map as yours!
    6: Monobattle! At the start of the game pick one unit, you may only build that unit, maybe bring friends along for a 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 on ladder? not sure how possible that is but would love to see pros taking on the monobattle challenge on the ladder, as for which rank that ofcourse depends on how serious of a unit you pick :D
    7: Thor Rush, this is a veeeery old school WoL build that essentially died with LoTV, but maybe you can proxy a thor, send some scvs to repair and see what you can get done? or add a medivac for a thor drop rush, although that is a big gas invest early, I can see this one working at Diamond levels.
    8: Hellbat/Medivac (Saw a few people suggesting similar hellbat related builds) but i'd say this only really has a chance if you can close out the game fast, def needs to be quite low ranked with no anti air and questionable early game, so a diamond player would be nice to try this on, maybe try a masters player if you succeed!

    Here's a stupid but funny idea, if the map has a gold base, you need to have your SCV scout while holding a set of gold minerals.
    Bonus lulz, leave a widow mine trap if they go and check the gold base.

    Structure war. Mass planetary, sensor towers, bunkers, turrets and ravens for auto turrets. Rules, bunkers, fortresses and towers must be built away from possible expansion locations before the expansion can be taken. Example. Securing the choke with a planetary before you can expand. The goal is to push planetary and turrets across the map while defending with bunkers and ravens. Exceptions, if ccs are being blocked from landing or if enemy seige units are constructed you can build tanks/vikings only to stop the siege and allow the planetary to land and push forward. Plat and lower. If a planetary doesn't destroy any opponents building, you lose the challenge

    I said on pigs channel a few months back to have florencio do a PF rush to just make the opponent cry in a corner because they lost to an absolutely stupid strat. I've been trying it on ladder and it's works 40% of the time, all the time. But when it works oh my God the salt is hilarious. One guy called me a "Piss sad round eye". I fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. Best insult ever.

    Hey. Hope you'll gonna hear me on this one, I make a mention because you love to try some silly builds. I'm not a SC2 player myself but I love your content and tendency to experiment.
    Get an ebay, research building armor and expand by proxy CC in your opponents third or fourth base. Mine it with 8 Scv and produce a battle cruiser. Once its near ready pack SCVs into Cc(5 if building armor is up or 8 if you manage to complete it) and float it into your opponents main. Teleport with BC on top of it as soon as your CC can drop SCV and start mass repair BC or CC respectively. Amidst of all the chaos it will cause (like what the ... is this build?!) You can make SCVs in your opponents main if they get killed, move them in and out CC to keep them alive or erect a planetary. Always up to you if you want to leave a single Scv behind to build another CC and float the second one in the middle of chaos as follow up to cause crazy become even more insane.
    It's just a proposition with limitless follow up and execution but strat is so odd nobody may see it coming. Hope you'll give it a shot.

    The first game was hilarious: "did he just leave???" ;-)... I mean everything inside of me tried to yell at you through time that you send your SCV to that other corner to check for proxy... but you didn't hear my telepathic voice, obviously since you are no Protos ;-)

    If a sky Terran sees proxy robo with batteries, he can adapt by building viking and liberator from the first reactor wave, then 2 vikings and then another viking with medivac. With the first liberator , a bunker and first vikings he'll have easy time defending his ramp, and with second CC and medivac he could take another (hidden) base which would help you to get upper hand in the situation. The robo guy would be so in this proxy, the moment he'll notice the lib he'll be years away from the blink and if he would walk in the lib zone at the ramp he'll dead.. And instead of fusion core you could've build EB and just a turret slightly away from the ramp. The only weak play here would be a reactor at the front, that would be instantly targeted so the factory should build another one for the starport. And if one will scout the proxy earlier he could even build the lib first, then move starport to the reactor.

    First game: First probe coming in too early actually was significant. Should have been slightly more suspicious.
    TvP where you got proxied, you accidentally made a ton of marines.

    I know the challenge has been over for an eternity, but I think a good way to adjust difficulty would be to say instead of "You're allowed to build X marines" -> "You're allowed to have X marines at any given time" or something like "If you lose marines in defense of cheese, you're allowed to replenish up to the cap". This helps defend early cheeses without impacting the challenge any other way.

    I'd love to participate in build suggestions but I have only ever played Starcrafts campaign and I realize units exist that don't in multiplayer and vice versa. I just watch for the entertaining content and positive vibes. Also helps me understand what's going on when I watch the SC e-sports tournaments. My favorite campaign was the Protoss campaign so I am extra useless at suggesting Terran builds. lol. Keep up the great content though.

    use a randomizer to pick the next 3 tech structures you have to build after a barracks (depot not included) then win using only the units those structures unlock :D so if its something like fusion core it'll be BCs, something like factory then hellions and mines, if tech lab then units unlocked by the tech lab on the building it is attached to

    I saw someone a while back doing the AFK build: By the time the opponent scouts, you have evacuated everything from the main base so it looks like you have been AFK the whole time, but really having a sneak base somewhere else.
    A variation that doesn't rely as much on reading enemy scout timing is simply: Not allowed to build any buildings in your main, second or back bases (maybe "until 10 minutes into the game" or something, so that if it turns into a macro game, you're actually allowed to take those bases). Is this actually fun? I have no idea. Typing it out, it sounds more like it's just a tempo handicap rather than a cool challenge.

    Challenge idea: 1-minute conversation into whatever strat/comp against masters or GMs. Keep at least one chat line on screen for one minute. You can still play, but you have to dedicate APM to ensure that chat stays active (no macros!). Conversation can be about anything. Talk about the weather, the latest pro match, what you ate for lunch last month. If they don't respond, you'll have to monologue.
    Throwing this in for consideration one more time. :D
    One thing I want to add is you have mentioned you have a difficult time talking to us and on chat at the same time, so I think that might be a fun handicap to work off of :P

    My idea for a challenge: Mass expanding, and mass SCV's. You can build military units, but the focus is still on mass SCV's. For example Thor's, but you have a control group of workers to keep them repaired. Or building mass planetary contains.
    Basically, win through having so much eco and so many workers you overwhelm them with that opposed to a large army.
    I'm not sure on the league.

    I like the aforementioned idea of trying to beat bronze or maybe even silver with absolutely non sensical builds like only SCV & PF's and no scv rush of course.

    I think you could go for a medivac and just increase the number of reapers/marines to a comfortable mix of 8 units. That way, you can enhance your builds with drop in the main, BC in the natural, or banshee with drops, or Raven with a drop, and you also survive the early game better.
    I would also love BC with medivac/SCV support. Seriously, how awesome and hectic would be to have 16 SCVs all repairing the BC's, the medivacs, while the medivacs heal the SCVs... I can already see some potential:)

    I wonder if a liberator could help you save the first game? Walking up the ramp should be very difficult for toss. I do realize they're expensive and eventually the toss could get a prism to avoid it, but still.

    That last game I was waiting for him to comment on making to many marines.. took some time and he filled up his bunker again. But it's impressive he actually see the mistake in the heat of the moment.
    Auto pilot is to Stronk.
    Like when he made tanks in the marine medivac challenge.

    in the first game don't you think that building a lib instead of one of the viking to hold the ramp could have keep you safe for a bit ? you could have zone the prism with 2 vikings and keep 2 at the front to support the lib. Just a little M1 thought, i don't pretend to know the answer but i'm curious to know what you think about it !

    Crazy Build Idea: Expand near their base, once it’s fully saturated all-in them with your army and all the SCVs at that expo, and float the CC into- or in front of their base and make a PF. I’m not sure what league to do this against… your choice!

    In game 1, you can send at least 1 Viking to harass the probes as soon as possible. Think that's your best shot. It'll distract him a bit.

    for the first fight, you floated your second CC back into your base, how about floating it off to a different location so it can mine. If he chases after it you can get some time to go down and clear out the proxy. If he doesn't you get a second base up.

      The priority is getting the mule down, and he lost SCVs so his main wasnt saturated. Plus he needed to pull the SCVs several times to defend so he would have had an even tougher defense with a proxy CC. Ultimately the proxy placement was extremely greedy from the protoss so him getting away unscouted put him at a big advantage. This cheese is also incredibly difficult to hold without a tank.

    Build suggestion: protoss with mass stasis traps and a lurking disruptor. When the stasis is about to expire time a nova to explode huge chunks of units :P

      I think after you have 2 of each you can build whatever but only after the 'Ark' is filled.

    Regarding builds for different leagues, thermy, what is the highest mmr you think you can beat with SCVs only? No medivacs even. If you need to do a doom drop, you need to build CCs and load them up w/ SCVs to drop them.

    Can you fit 6 marine's and a reaper in a medivac? If you can I say you add 1 more marine for the purpose of a full drop, and only add it when the marine is ready so you cant use it before the drop.

    thanks for all the constant and dedicated content.
    You ask for ideas*, I have some for you, because you claim to read all comments, to the best of your abilities.
    Absurd to less absurd.
    1) Mercenaries: You get 4 of every kind of soldier. Only BC unlimited.
    2) Every Soldier Is Real: minimal loses. max heal, max repair, max micro, max efficiency.
    3) Heavy Duty : reapers, marauders, ghosts, medivacs, tanks, vikings, banshes, cyclones, ravens, widow mines, BC BY PROXY, bongcloud for clout, to top ten GM (PS, dont build reactor core in proxy;))))
    4) Idea 5 and 6 put together
    5) An "ALL IN" card. I watched the video with the anti-armor TVT. He simply had the perfect response. I believe in these moments you are allowed a "GET OUT OF JAIL" card from your challenge. You obviously knew how to respond, you just couldn't. Maybe Ghost/Nuke? Marines can call in Special Ops and Tactical Nukes?
    6) Also, maybe add like 1 reaper, 2 tanks, 2 ravens, to your marine challenge as "GRANDMASTER AUXILIARY TROOPS".
    *(In SC and BW, in the campaign, Kerrigan would have Hunter-Killer hydras with her... I think in grandmaster, you should be allowed a pack of bonus troops to supplement your forces.)

    I suppose if not building the fusion core let you get just one more viking out, you could have sent it across to completely shut down his mining or force a recall. Either way it probably works out.

    Supply limit challenge. You are only allowed to go up to 100 supply. Maybe diamond to master?
    Alternative version: no unit type may have more than 12 supply at a time (SCV excluded). So 12 marines, 6 marauders...

    Why don't you use more planetary fortresses to defend early cheese? PF in the wall instead of the barracks is an interesting surprise for the cheeser :) you can check out how Ketroc survive early rushes, because he doesn't have much fighting units until he gets to the massive ravens

      I also mentioned something similar. Not 100% SCV's only, but just mass SCV's. If you build Thor's, you have them surrounded by repairing SCV's. Use eco to spam planetary and turrets, etc.
      If Thermy is going by most popular suggestions, throw mine in with "anything mass SCV" I don't care on the small details.

    I would love to see a build where you can not build more than 23 scvs. Mules are ok. No rush 5 mins. I think you would still have a decent chance in diamond with this.

    - build only Marines & Battlecruisers (weakest and strongest units)
    - you have to keep a 1-to-1 ratio at all times, even if that means stopping production or killing your own units
    - probably against Masters?

    As a protoss, watching you abuse those deadspaces so hard felt like you were pulling the ultimate cheese. RIP that 5K protoss, must have been the most annoying and de-motivating game he played that day. Slap on the wrist for the no gg though; he's making us protoss look bad!
    On another note, I've always loved those 1v7 AI challenges you did. Perhaps you could use a playstyle that is similar? I'm not meaning as in multiple opponents, rather that you hold a chokepoint, do containment, make forward defensive positions, and use those aggressive positions to quickly tire out your opponent, waiting for the time to deliver the killing blow. Maybe this is completely not viable at a high level, but a lot of people, I included, fell in love with Terran because of their legacy, which is to hold out and push forward no matter what!
    P.S. Sry I don't have a specific build, I'm a bit of a derp, and this is more a playstyle.

    Name your account "Skytoss", playing Terran, make 1 barracks (w/techlab) for >10 marines, 1 Factory (switch it to the techlab), an Armory (for early Armor 1st!), and pump out 5 Siege Tanks while building 4 more Factories, then get to 30 Siege Tanks and A-move them through your opponent sieging 1 or 2 every now and then to cover your advance.
