That's nothing. This series started back when I knew almost nothing of engineering, now I have a diploma in my curriculum.
Ok, so they recorded on 5/19, recorded AGAIN on 5/19, and posted on a third separate 5/19. What.
Ignoring the fact that Jon's been fighting some of the most OP enemies in the game, Dopplegangers, it bothers me that as soon as he got to the continent with the portal to the underworld, his immediate goal was not to sleep at the temple on that continent... Also, super glad this video was released specifically on May 19th to complete the save file chain.

That doesn't matter when it comes to planning ahead. Knowing how easily this game luck screws you and you're going off to fight the strongest enemies in the game, and death is a very likely possibility, it's weird not to plan ahead for the ridiculously long walk back it would take if he died on the way through the Underworld. Just in case.
The Lurker They beat the game no later than the 23rd. While it’s possible this is run, it’s just as possible that they won’t be beating the game for another three days.
My point wasn't that it wasn't a dumb decision my point was that it might not matter because Jon might succeed this run because this was the last session but then Rexaura pointed out the date thing so who knows maybe he'll die, get kicked back to the first continent and trudge back and then beat the game at 5/23

Man, the title and the fact Jon is in the forest is sending me down memory lane. Remember when everyone was trying to get through the forest only to get a ton of events, stalling it out for a long time? That was certainly a funny EVENT. Now Jon's getting through it so quickly.

It took me 20 hours to beat this game with a single AI, you three have taken at least 35 (given the average time of the videos * number of episodes) between the three of you over the course of over a year at this point. Thanks for putting that much effort into a game I believe deserved better attention then it got.

BTW, the item you get from robbing shops is actually decided on the rock/paper/scissor rolls. i have done multiple test with save states, and it can be either the weapon or shield, depending just by chance "WHEN" you win, you cant control what you will get really. Same thing is with the normal female merchant, can get a gold bug + 2 spinners if you win on the first round, can get a skeleton key, revival and death block on another round of rock paper scissors. So it´s completely out of your control what you get. But you CAN get either items, shield or weapon, price doesn´t decide it at all sadly. would be at least somewhat controllable.
So wait. Jon found out that robbing from a town amounts to taking their tax money, Emile commented on how pointless it was, and yet someone still attempted to rob? I sure hope it was for shits and giggles, considering how not worth it that is unless you’re confident you’ll get a good amount of cash...

I know, I was confused about the thumbnail too. When Tim visited Sterling I actively expected him to at least select the attack option but he didn't do that, so I was like "Wait, so when DOES this come up?"
3:38 the fashion show pulled him there. Chugga can't be pulled out if a dungeon, so they left him there, AND excluded him. If you want to participate and don't want to leave your location you go in a dungeon. To prevent the story from being halted, dungeon=your hair ain't worth the trouble!

Emile had NO shame with that innuendo. I imagined 18 year old Jon sleeping through Return of the King and 14 year old Emile sleeping through Spiderman 2. What's funny is that these events would have happened about 6 months apart since they saw them when they first came out. (December 2003-June 2004)

Speaking of good movies we fell asleep to while we were younger, I remember falling asleep to The Dark Knight after the Joker was defeated.

I seem to be absolutely incapable of falling asleep in movies no matter how tired I am, at least in theaters anyway. I got like 5 hours of sleep prior to seeing The Last Jedi and still didn't fall asleep during that movie, and it was almost 2.5 hours long.
The only movie I think I ever fell asleep during was Peter Jackson's King Kong, and it was when I was ~9 years old and owned it on DVD. I was sick in bed at that time and I guess was just too tired to watch that entire movie from beginning to end.

The AI is pretty rough at the beginning, but by the end they just get so desperate for towns that they don't even bother you anymore.

He would have to get all the way back to Asia if he wanted to bring the scorpion back to Xishan, which means he'd have to go through the cave to get back to Africa and hope he can get to that town in a week's time.
He's better off selling the scorpion and grinding up money from encounters.
Based on my experiences of playing with the AI, they are still incredibly dumb even on their hardest difficulty. They will always give up in a fight if they think they will lose. This forces them into a cycle where they always give up, move 1 space, and give up on that fight too.
