Great job looks fantastic! I have made many cemetery fences over the years. My current fence I made six years ago and I wish I had added the rings to make mine look a bit fancier.
Looks great thanks for the info only thing is drywall screws don't last long outside there brittle and rust fast deck screws would be a better choice I've used drywall screws outside before and had to redo the project becouse of them....
Because I apparently know too many people with 3D printing ability, I'd have the finials 3d printed, looking the same outside, but with a tubular center core, so no heat-forming needed on the PVC. That fence is going to look awesome when complete, regardless.
amazing to think ive never had anyone knock off or poke any of mine off in the past 4-5 years, but..before i did the finials, i had these cheap plastic skulls i ' glued ' on , well on halloween sure enough about a half dozen were ' hit ' off :/
They are 54 and 50 inches but I decided to just buy the 4x4 plastic post for decking to make it easier so going to cut about 7 inches off the bottom to make post but if your going to make your own columns should be fine. I will make my main columns next year as I will not have time this year. The reason I want that high just didn't want kids jumping over them.....lol
Love this decor! Mind if I include it in an article I’m doing on Halloween fence decoration ideas? I’ll be sure to give you credit 😊

I've built the rickety spooky fence before but never tried this gothic looking one. I love that. (Going to see if you have more videos on it)

Wait, is that what that hole in the middle of the spade is for! Genius, thanks for showing that tip, and for this tutorial.
Actually when you drill through studs to pull a wire, you can hook the wire to the spade bit and pull it through when you pull the bit out.

I used over 100 of them as I bet it would take a lot of hours to 3d print that many
Great video
I found I could get a square taper with a couple squeezes of the pliers before pushing the finial on.
I secure the finials on with a #6 5/8 screw. Keeps the passer by’s honest lol

Nice job. I can see you have 2 different length pvc piping. What is the length of each.
