I have been watching Daniel in youtube recently. His English is soothing like what we speak here in Singapore ( of course, my country is half foreigners so it has a mesh of accent from Malaysia most of the time). It looks so delicious! The dinning set makes it pleasant and gives it a punch of restaurant feel.

about the steamer: in the middel is a hoop-thingy. You should have a hook to hook on to that to take it out. Ikea has a similar steamer where the middle hoop-thing is solid so you can easly get it out :) Sorry for my English, not native

Daaaaang Daniel! Back at it again with another banging recipe.
This looks so good! I haven't had Korean eggplant in forever! That just made me crave them. I love them so much more than Italian eggplants.
Also that pork belly looked scrumptious and so does the soup. Haven't tried eomuk yet so I look forward to my first time.
Made hansik A on Monday and that was amazing! That tofu recipe? Absolutely bomb! Same with the pa guk and the potato banchan.
Thank you again and I look forward to making this on Monday night for dinner.

two eggplants with less seeds and 3-4 capia peppers; We open a few holes on it with a fork and bake at 180 degrees (cooking time varies according to size). When we poke it with a spoon, we understand that cooked when eggplant collapses, the collapsed place becomes soft.
Then we take it out of the oven, wrap it in baked baking paper and let it cool. When they cool, we peel them easily and cut the eggplants into cubes. we slice the peppers as small as a little finger. In another bowl we mix 5-6 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, 1 tablespoon of grape or apple vinegar, 1/2 lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of crushed garlic. Then we pour the sauce over the pepper and eggplants and mix it and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours. It is my favorite appetizer next to the beef, our local name is manca (I think we can write in Hangeul 만자) Do you have such a similar recipe?

I may not have watched all of your videos, I saw your first recipe for eggplant, it looks delicious. I'm sure it will taste even better the longer it waits in the fridge. one thing I wonder, do you feel a slight bitterness (but not spicy bitterness) when the eggplant is prepared this way? We usually cut the eggplant and wait for it to leave its bitter in salted water for 1 hour and cook it like that. Of course, the types may be different. In my next comment, I'll leave you an eggplant salad recipe. Take care of yourself :)

    • @FutureNeighbor
