    The Spring King is the King of King Salmon. These oily chrome butterballs are perhaps the most desired of all salmon for their flavor and fight. Trolling is an effective way to target these Chinook Salmon on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. Here I cover my favorite lures and baits to troll when targeting these fish.

    Tyler, where would you suggest fishing for these spring Chinook around the Lake Chelan Area? BTW, passed you today on 150. Hopefully you were successful!

      There is a run of springer on the Icicle but it rarely opens to harvest. There might be opportunities on the Snake River but that is a long shot. Otherwise it's the Portland area this year.

    I fished that seahawk mini cut plug on the willamette today stuff with tuna. No dice for me but had a solid mark on the finder.

    if you read this, please reply to me. I live in Alaska and well i do a bunch of trolling. I found out that taking a flay of herring and bring it in fire brin, then refreezing them bring more results for king salmon

    Wobblers and spoons?

      @spiltmilt  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like wobblers on anchor in the summer and fall. Current is generally too fast in the spring
