I like regular gear box transaxles to me they are far easier to move/push hydros can be a pain in the ass especially if they have been sitting for awhile
Did yours have the belt whine since new? I just bought the same tractor used and it whines like crazy. I can't tell if it's the hydro or a belt/bearing issue.
The hydrostatic Transmissions are notorious for whining especially on these cheaper tractors minded it from the day I bought it just kind of what it does
Those courage single cylinder motors crack the blocks because the upper case bolts come loose and the case shakes and the flywheels can catch the bolt heads and crack the case. Take the bolts out and throw some loctite on them
To my surprise I still have it and it was purchased brand new in 2013 we do use it very hard we cut over two acres with it every week but I do maintain it religiously and I've replaced many of the components on a deck and very many belts

I have a 2014 Cub cadet LTX1045 with the kohler engine. And I've never had a problem with the engine.
mine spilled it guys today oil everywhere, cracked the case or something . Thinking about trying to see if I can get a 22 hp predator in it.

Actually, it is a real cub cadet. If you look at the front of the hood. It has the official symbol for cub cadet.

You are correct, but do you have an answer for spontaneously throwing a connecting rod

Stop being so perfect on problems with the cub ,it is what it’s , you should have shopped around better
