Who Created the 1%er Patch? George Christie Interview PT 1th-cam.com/video/FWBS2sjLxoU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=DemonsRow
Well, Mr. George Christie certainly knows and we know that's.
Said with all the respect. That's a fact Mr. Christie knows.I know george christie
This is daytona
@DemonsRow since your channel is about MC's I wanted to tell you about something that happened we're I live here in Dayton Ohio the ATF just locked up a MC on alot of charges like selling drugs and guns and a few unsolved murder cases
THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE BIGGEST RIDE OUt EVER FOR SONNY .
George is the man! Much respect. I had met Sonny a dozen times over the years at rally’s, book signings and once I rode with him from Wickenburg Az to cave creek, it was totally random on a Sunday morning, this was a great honor. Sonny always took time to talk with supporters, and everyday folks. Hats off to you Sose for interviewing George!
We ran into him (Sonny) in Tucson a couple times at the Victory dealership.
Great stuff. Sonny Barger was one of those larger than life characters who leaves a permanent mark on those who knew him as well as those who followed ~ and envied ~ the lives and lifestyle of the Hell's Angels. May he RIP.
It's nice to see this OG smile as he recalls the guys and stories from back in the day.
Sose, my friend………You have totally outdone yourself yet again as you did with your interview with Mr. Ereckson!!! So many alive Living Legends that know the history and have lived to be free and ride another day!!! No disrespect to any 1% clubs but a shout out to all the Old School members thank you for sharing the history of Your club!!!! I appreciate you for stepping up and giving all of us a history lesson! Much love & respect
Thank you my brother i appreciate you
No disrespect to you DR. Feel free to ask.
Wow. Fascinating story, all the interesting characters and their stories. George does good job as historian. The hero of the big story IMO is tenacious Sonny Barter, especially his restart in Arizona at age 70. RIP
Sose man, it may sound odd to you, it may not, but I could not only see, but also feel the respect you have for this legendary Hells Angel. Your body language, your tone of voice, and your inflections of speech were exemplary in my opinion, as an old-skool old man. Showing justifiable respect and politeness are signs of being a real man. Thank you.
Def got respect and love i consider him a big brother
I always saw Sonny barger as like a rockstar, I new nothing about motorcycles or clubs as a kid, but I remember seeing him in all the old biker movies, then the first documentary’s came out on tv of all the 1%er clubs and I saw his interviews, rip
Great interview with George Cristry Sose! # ghostin
Sonny was a legend
What a great interview. I didn’t want it to end. I could
Watch hours of this!
Thank you
I met Sonny at the Donny Smith in minneapolis. I went between 2 of the biggest prospects you could imagine and he says, let him thru, I love him already. We talked for 5 mins and I told him I'd bought a HD from one of his warriors. In the end we hugged. He's a great guy!!!
Sonny forever ❤👊
Great interview! I can’t wait for the rest! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@DemonsRow all of your content is great, i wish i was still on two's however i need to make something for a cripple to ride
An excellent interview really enjoyed it a very very interesting character same as the one you did with Scott Erickson absolutely brilliant please keep these coming. Love all your stuff.
Trip out, this is good stuff. I grew up in Ventura during the 90s and George was a bit of an icon around town. I remember his tattoo shop on Main street with bikes always out front, and everyone knew who he was. I remember the drama with the investigations and the indictments. It was all kind of local rumors and folk tales but now, twenty years later it's cool to hear him taking about it all.
Met Sonny @ the Hideaway bar in CaveCreek,Az Az. Bikeweek 2011 Red & White were all over that bar. I Ride with a Veterans Organization he saw my Patches told his guy's let me thru wanna say he was signing books to. But very respected man talked for all of 5 mins. One prospect gave me a beer i will never forget that!
An amazing history interview. I love hearing about the inceptions of the clubs of all kinds, the old days❤
Thank you
Best interview keep up the great work 👍💯
Thank you
Haha we were at the pictures watching stone and all the audience the boys had square bandages on their throats in 1974. I know where it all came from. I was around when clubs started in australia in 1962. Id love to write a book.
George Christie seems like a solid man. I read his book in 2018 while I was locked up at Governuer Correctional Facility in Upstate, NY.
Im glad you at least got to read a good book. Government sponsored vacation blows
I've already watched a handful of interviews with George Christie, and I didn't think I'd go out of my way for these DR vids. Really liking these, man, excellent interview! You do good work, love your channel!
Another great vid 🇦🇺👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Never met George. Met sonny in little sturgis ky. Talked for a ge2 min. No prospect bodyguards that I saw. Sonny was a good dude
Wow when he spoke about Sonny dying he almost lost it! You could hear the pain in voice! See it shows how strong that bond is with these guys. Sonny got George kicked out and then a little while latter it changed to out bad. But for 30yrs almost 40 Sonny and George had a relationship not always the best but, by his emotions it was always respect and love for each other…
I bet he if he did not make it to see Sonny it kills him inside… I really have respect and admiration For George I would love to sit down have a meal and just to George for a couple hrs. I would never ask him HA stuff, but just what life taught him along the way…
He allready told you in his interviews!
You've got me reeled in, this content is super interesting.
Glad you enjoy it!
RIP Sonny!
Great interview. Enjoy the show.
I am glad you got to meet (Guro Christi ) when he cares he looks after you forever…ML&Aloha Chopper. Duke🤙🏽
much love been a min
I respect the fact that since sonny is gone george wont bash sonny even with the decades of problems they had....
Great work on this, he was a man of many faces 😅
Thank you
Much respect for Sonny. MUCH RESPECT FOR MR BARGER . FROM DAYTONA OUT
Good on ya DemonsRow, you take the time and effort to put these things together. Me, I'm a London dude, liked my festivals back in day, over in England it was Stonehenge and Glastonbury (all about 10 miles away) yeah, but I see the odd biker flash by, I'm nobody's fool, but you've clarified many little things that you can't just bowl up to some 6ft 16inch bloke and say 'Hey..blah, blah...' not good for the health..yeah.So, thanks my mate, you've done some good street research.. appreciated. Patch
The Hell's Angels were originally the 303rd. Bomber squadron B17 from WW2. The MC took on the name after the guys from the bomber squadron weren't received very well and they formed a group of motorcyclists bearing the name to keep that close brotherhood together after the war. Berdo, CA was the HQ and has been for all of these years. Much respect to you George and thank you for passing the history that people should know. The culture isn't the same as it was back in the day, old school always has a rich reality to it that no one would know unless you were there.
Didn't howard houghs movie of the same name have something to do with it?
@@dalepotter6918 My pleasure.
@@nacona5114 Name came from a 1930 Howard Hughes movie originally, about a fighter squadron.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell%27s_Angels_(film)
@Roadghost88 yes, that was the first rendition of the name. Hughs' star was Jean Harlow. If you ever get the chance to see it, do.
@@dalepotter6918 Talking about the name itself, and where the 303rd got it from. Not sure where Howard Hughes got it from.
Another great show, George Christie is a good storyteller.
Great interview T y

Great interview! Let the guest talk and only lead if necessary. Too many podcasters love the sound of their own voice!
Sonny Barger was the best thing and the worst thing to ever happen to the Hells Angels.
San Antonio representing!
Its a shame u and sonny didnt reconcile bro. Great interview. Alway liked Christie. Not that i knew him but from his podcasts. Thanks sose #ghosting

In 1967 Hunter S. Thompson did an interview on CBC with a member of the Hell's Angels. The Hell's Angel member says the the agreement with Hunter S. Thompson was for two kegs of beer and a signed copy of the book for all of the Oakland members. Hunter supposedly wrote a letter to Ralph "Sonny" Barger that said because you beat me up, I feel I owe you nothing and supposedly, hunter got beat up because he called a patched member a punk. The interview can be found on youtube.
Another great interview! Really good stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Skip hurt his back and had to give it up. Dude was one smart man one tough man skip was.
Good Show 👍
Have great day 😊💖
Thank you! You too!
Good thing about this dude is he gives his guests room to tell ther story's about ther life's. Nothing worse whn folks are constantly interrupted
BFFB ❤💛

Greatest interview. Skip workman telling thonpson wheres the 2 cases of beer you owe us? 😅
I just bought a Road king! I'm gonna ride that thing like crazy! State to state, just for fun! Also...I just ordered a pizza. And I'm about to watch this interview while I enjoy it. Ghost mode engaged: Let's do this! 🍕😎👻

Awesome video bro I always had respect for George it was a good move to get him on your platform bro and the interview was epic and I mean that, keep up the good work big homie
thank you
@@DemonsRow you welcome
@@DemonsRow I fucks wit u big homie
He passed away, around this time in 2022.
G.C. Always seems to speak from the heart, and he doesn’t speak ill on anyone.
Rip sonny great man
All i take from clubs is ,,,,Onley the ones that are willing to strike at an order , and ride a harley .
Say what you want about George but anyone who holds power for 40 years in an outlaw motorcycle club ain’t no joke. Never snitched or testified on anyone. In my opinion a stand up dude
Truth
@@DemonsRow much respect for George. although your hearing his side of the story.some stories claim he did some dry snitching, but thats others stories, which you can see on youtube. goerge to me was solid nothing but respect.
@@shadowplay-y5gwhat he puts out now is it disinformation
@@shadowplay-y5gin these types of organizations people want your spot if they perceive it as powerful, sad but true that snitch jacket gets thrown around to get the power position. Guys who have been on the inside like George or peewee etc. know this and don’t have a need to address it. I know that is one of the reasons I walked away from the organization I belonged to. Hell I still have all my paperwork from every case I ever caught 😂😂😂 why? Hell I don’t know I just keep it in case. In case of what? Hell I don’t know 😂😂😂 just a habit from dealing with that type of crap most of my adult life 🤷🏻♂️
Sonny Barger, do as he says, not as he does.
Hi Sosa, Excellent show as ever. Did or will the family of the late Ralph Sonny Barger authorize Mr. Christie’s book about their relative? Respectively and Thank you.
he doesnt talk bad about him just disagrees
Much respect to both of you I'm a 48 year old man my dad was a grim reaper in Illinois back in the late 60s early 70s I've been a hang around have multiple full patch brothers and have been thinking of joining up , are the glory days over for clubs because I dont trust shit for people anymore and the clubs have had so many infiltrations is being in a 1 % club even safe anymore, I would love to here your opinion on that, and oh yeah keep on ghosting
Its true its not worth it in most cases
@@DemonsRow much respect to you my brother keep it real
I think it would have been awesome to join the Hells Angels back in the 60's to the 80s. Not in modern times though. From everything I've heard it's not what it used to be. Things change though and not always for the better.
Great history lesson.
Glad you enjoyed it
#Ghostin....Hoorah🦁☠
Forever riding, Rest Easy Sonny!
I am sure there are many in the MC community that are no fans of george esp HA but you can he has a brain and has the discipline that the military brings. Respect to christie
Listen to what he said I'm writing a book it's private stuff private in a book who pays GC now
I have an HA story, I would like to know more of. Mr Christie just said Sonny got out in 78. About that same time in the SFV, I think Sherman Way and Wilbur, at an old gas station. About 10pm driving down Sherman way, I saw 50 LAPD cars, then at the gas station I saw … 4 HA members with sawed off shotguns, and four of the most beautiful shiny Harleys ever. They had four LAPD officers detained. Then another fifty LAPD cars out of sight continuing down the road. Mr Christie must know about this event.
#GHOSTIN down Tn way, George is a great communicator and storyteller and undoubtedly a real MF’er , said with the utmost respect. Love or hate Sonny, the man was a legend in his own time, mad respect #FitW ML&R
#ghostin i agree
18wheeling ghostin thumbs up 👍 👍 👍
#ghostin
This is great stuff. I would love to meet George, what a great story teller
Oakland's always been wildin. Yeee!!
Sosa, ok to ask George Christie a question about history?
Problem with George and Sonny was their egos were so big between the two they clashed because they were both power hungry.
It is close now for episode 2!
Where did Sonny prospect?
Hell it came up to us up North that Son left Cally Because He was Ran out By the Courts .
*WATCHING NOW*
Was at work when it premiered had to stay a bit extra
appreciate you bro
@@DemonsRow amazing episode
Watched it while having dinner
Let's see the next one
i am my own power and me and me an olny me .
SONNY BARGER OPEN UP THE HELLS ANGELS HE'S THE REAL LEADER ALL GEORGE CHRISTIE DID IS OPEN UP A CHAPTER IN VENTURA SONNY BARGER IS THE FOUNDER 🏍️ 💯🏍️
Christie is nothing more then a rat that turned on his brother's. He is a story teller telling stories to make a dollar. Sonny was in his 50s when the dirty dozen patched over. Not his 70s.
No...
@@johnjohnston4672 ABSOLUTELY IT WAS GEORGE CHRISTIE DON'T KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT ALL GEORGE CHRISTIE DID IS OPEN A CHAPTER IN VENTURA SONNY BARGER WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO OPEN UP A HELLS ANGEL CHAPTER IN OAKLAND.🏍️ HE'S THE FOUNDER THAT'S WHAT IT SAYS IN THE BOOKS 📚
@@Mike-qh1ik….You need to read that book again cause he mentions it in there that San Bernardino was first & San Francisco was second but they were NOT affiliated together, so that’s when Sonny said in his book that him & his HA Oakland we’re gonna go to war with San Fran first & then go a pay a visit to HA San Bernardino & if I remember, this happened in the late 1950’s. But as we see nothing happened, no war, nothing so Sonny becomes the “Top Guy” for the California Hell’s Angels, don’t know how he did it but he did!
@@ccrider00 Sonny barger the first one to start the Hell's Angels
Truly fascinating!
Glad you enjoyed
G I wonder why he got kicked out he's a liar ask him about his head injury the only reason he's talking about Sonny is because he's not alive anymore ask him about his neighbor does he have a cop a fed living next to him 🤔
