First congratulations to Tseten Phuntsok for speaking plainly and effectively with punches wherever warranted and Jho Jho Dorjee for his excellent editing of this video and many others before in connection with this matter. By the way I have heard T. Phuntsok speak very before in this matter. I admired his talks but I came to know his name and who he is only today.
I also came to know who Kunga Thinley is today.
A shady character.
Like many other Tibetans Pema Jungney and acharya Yeshey Phuntsok had reasonable record of services in our exiled government but nothing outstanding. Nevertheless, as fellow Ngariwa, I have never failed not to cast my vote for them whenever their names are in the final U-tsang voting list.
But their act, in cohort with other motivated elements, of dismantling STJC in 1921 has wiped out completely whatever contribution they have had made till that black day of 25th.of March,2021.This act shocked me! Knowing who they are it could never have been an innocent mistake but certainly a motivated act.!!
If we have a country of our own with normal government the acts of these men along others are fit for very severe punishment because their crime is no less than treason. But they know very well our humble government in exil cannot take any legal actions against them. Therefore this outrageous show of defiance along with their handlers speaks volumn of the character of these people.
Do Pema Jungney and acharya Yeshey Phuntsok deserve any falicitation except for pulling down one of the foundational pillars of the structure of our exiled government.? The exactb aim of shamelessly function is reward for pulling down that pillar.!! I am sure vast majority of sane and sensible Ngariwas are opposed to this event totally.
Or course this shamelessly event will take place and we shouldn't be allowed ourselves discouraged. The few Ngariwa likes Kunga Thinley are just cover. They have neither the financial resources nor manpower or even conviction to organise this function on such grand scale as would. They are simply what Mao Tsetung would call the running dogs. Being used to lay ground work for split within Ngariwas and between Ngari and rest of U-tsang chokha in order to reduce the numerical strength of this Chokha.
Ideally and sensibly speaking the notion of chokha- the regional devision- should be discouraged because Chinese government is deadly interested in promoting the regionalism. Why? Because China understands regional bais is very tool to cause devision leading to disunity among Tibetans in and outside Tibet. Chinese spies and agent provocateurs are active within our Tibetan exile communities living in many countries across the world. Why!? Why not us, when the reach of Chinese government is global for creations of all sorts troubles and destabilization.
These long term consequences have bearings with the grand Gala Dinner apart from immediate aims of making Sikyong Penpa Tsering to lose in 2026 Sikyong Election.
I am positive that sophisticated, thinking and self respecting Ngariwa should also take long term negative consequences into count as reason for opposing this the Grand Gala Dinner.
If Pema Jungney and acharya Yeshey Phuntsok have real concern for fellow Ngariwas, lead them in right direction. There is a simple way to do. Accept their grievous mistake and change their hearts genuinely. That would be brave and wise decision.why? Because it will pave their way for an honourable return to the Ngari community.
I think it's still not too late and choice is their.!!
