Hopefully I get all your questions in one answer, the glow plugs only work when the key is held backwards, the clicking is actually the fuel pump. You don't need to grease the points on the tracks unless the tracks are loose, those are for track tension. You can never use too much grease on the actual boom joints. The threaded holes on the blade are for keeping the extensions tight because form factory they only use a pin instead of your long bolts. The half pump for zerks keeps the pins topped off but I like to see grease ooze out of both ends of the pin to ensure proper lubrication. Very nice machine. Thanks for sharing
When you bring the tracks in to get through narrow opens . the sides of the blade comes off to same size of track then after move tracks back out again & refit the blade extensions....REX (UK)
You don’t need lock nuts on those, the wings just use drip in pins. The threaded parts are just to put anti rattle screws in. You only need those out wide if you are running the tracks wide. The will flip inward, and you can in them in narrow as well.

I hope I can get a reply from you today, my husband has not used this machine in at least 6 or so months, and now he needs to use it to pull the car out of a ditch, and he can't get it started, he hooked it up to the portable battery charger all last night, and it still won't start, so we figured it must be out of gas, ( he has Alzheimer's ) and he can't find the gas tank, can you tell him where it is, PLEASE? What is the most economical way to get 2 way aux function and a thumb on the K008-3?

The glow plugs only work in the reverse key position. The forward positions are just ignition.
That clicking is the electric fuel pump coming on in both key positions, not the glow plugs. You can't hear the glow plugs.
